Let this sink in. The Warriors were in the play in this year and essentially didn’t make the playoffs because of Draymond and his 20 game suspension. KD left the Warriors in his prime mainly because of Draymond. Warriors probably lost to the Cavs because of Draymond suspension. Their first ring Lebron didn’t have Kyrie or Love, his next 2 best players. No one can survive that. Essentially what I am saying is that Draymond is lucky that organization loves him because he has cost them more than he has gotten them. I still believe that Stephen Curry is a superior player to Kevin Durant in terms of overall historical leadership and impact. When considering talent, scoring, and defense, Kevin Durant may have certain advantages, but that does not necessarily make him a better player than Stephen Curry. This is simply my personal opinion, and I acknowledge that others may have different perspectives.
When he was with the Golden State Warriors, it was more efficient for them to give him the ball and allow him to play as the best player because that was the most effective way for them to win championships, similar to the way the Los Angeles Lakers used to play. When Kobe Bryant was playing with Shaquille O'Neal, it was more advantageous to play through Shaquille O'Neal rather than Kobe Bryant because Shaquille O'Neal was the dominant player at the time. Therefore, it made perfect sense. After Shaquille O'Neal departed from the Lakers, people had doubts about Kobe Bryant's ability to win championships, but he proved them wrong by winning two championships and reaching the finals three times, which solidified his status as one of the greatest players of all time. The challenge with team sports is that you cannot solely rely on the best player; instead, you must employ the most effective strategy, not just the best player, to win games and championships.

Yes, the warriors needed him for those two chips but they also showed they can do it without him twice. If KD is on that level he should be able to do the same at least once.

NBA is a game with fine margins which could go either way. KD has been balling and just a bit unlucky with teammate injuries and drama around him.
