    Nice demonstration, I don't have that insulation tester. I had a car with an injector fault code that passed the ohm test, I ended up moving the faulty injector to another cylinder and the fault moved with the injector. In that case the ohm test didn't work. Your test would have saved a lot of time moving injectors around.

    I think the pin to pin and pin to body are both good valid tests and would show if the piezo stack had a issue with shorting within the stack or the stack to the injector body.

    Can these tests be carried out accurately with the injectors still installed in the engine?

    I can confirm. At 100vdc the insulation test must be around 0.2mohms whicb is a good reading and the injector will work. Anything from 0.04mohms or lower will not work! Even 0.04mohms will have running issues and isn't worth reusing.

    Only first and last injector passed the pin to pin test even though the other passed the remaining tests. Is it means only first and last injectors are good one?
