Hi, good one John. It gets the wife's approval to practice this one as she can see uses for this knot on some of her handbag zipper's etc. Old dears not so good with her fingers and eyes these days. Shame it's not her bloody ears she doesn't miss a thing. She can hear coins in my pocket from 100 meters but can't open the little zipper on her purse , crafty old sod.

Howdy from Texas, I love your videos! This two strand crown tied my brain in knots for a while, but I've finally mastered it. Does it have a name besides 'crown knot?' I've been looking for it in Ashley's book, but haven't found it still. Thanks for your tutorials, much appreciated.

If you look at diagram 610 on page 105, I think it's referred to as one of the button knots. Thank goodness for video tutorials. I'd never work that out from the illustration lol

@@OutdoorAcademyAustralia I have a small collection of stuff I rotate in and out depending on needs. Have a custom and stock benchmade 945 but they don't have lanyard holes. Two cold steel 4-max elites, absolute beater knives. A hogue ritter in magnacut and green g-mascus that I accept as my larger benchmade, pound for pound probably the best pocket knife. It's now on the bench though because of how much I like the native 5. Looking into a manix 2 in cruwear now, may have to use this video again.
