I’ll be heading down this week to fish there. How are people down there running their setups? Up here at the dams I run a Carolina rig for all my big flatheads.
That mam was really rude fishing is supposed to be fun and everyone should be there to work together and he really going to act like that over a net he just mad he ain't catch it when he should just be happy sometimes u get the monster and someone else the next be happy for each other and all them people just standing there don't need to be there I would have been jumping in the deep water excited for u trying to land the darn fish people are so grimy and ok maybe not in the water but u could of happily just grabbed my net that's whats wrong with this world
@@Reptiboy98 I didn't see any of the regulars there that always help out. But, the regulars there always do help out, and it doesn't if we know you are not. I didn't have a pier net when I first started there years ago, and preacher would definitely help out. There are three regular African Americans that came quite a lot and they'd help out anytime too. There are quite a few regular Hispanics there too over the years, and they definitely help anyone that needs a net too. It can take 2-3 of us to haul in a +50lbs catfish. But, looks like you had a fun out there. I usually come out around May to mid-June for the stripers and do Catfish throughout the summer months.

What’s the rod setup boss?
How much weight are you running to keep your bait in place in the current
3 oz for the cork, 4 for the bottom
Hello nice work. Thats my favorite spot. But you can use some help. When will you be there again?
Have my own equipment
hopefully this weekend depending on weather
Whenever I fished there everyone would help each other land their fish. Thats what I didn't see this time.
Haha, it's cool, no one is obligated to help
How big was the one that broke you off? Thinking over 20lb?
Fish under 40 lbs are relatively easy to bring in. That one was easily over 60
i thought this area was closed due to the dam repair
It was closed early in the year but has been open for a while now
What bait are you using
gizzard shad

Appreciate your perspective but no one is obligated to help anyone else. Whether they want to help or not, it's no big deal.
