What you are trying to say about Muhammed Peace and blessings upon him, its most likely either taken out of context, not a very authentic hadith. We know for a FACT the prophet would never treat a lady disrespectfully although women and men are equal they both play different roles in society. Reading about Jesus the Christ (PBUH) in Al-Qur'an and how beautiful it displays him helped bring me to embrace Al-Islam. Prior to reading Al-Qur'an, I was told by family members, friends and colleagues who were Christians that Muslims didn't believe in Jesus the Christ Peace Be Upon him. IF Jesus is the ONLY way to God, then we need to stand firm in our faith. That being said, we must be open to dialogue with other people of other faiths, to make sure of what we believe, and if we find that we have believed something not true, we must be open to accept the truth. What this Pastor understands and realizes is how similar the teachings and practices of Jesus the Christ and Muhammad ibn Abdullah, Peace Be Upon both Prophets are. Here are the following examples: Both Prophets and their followers give one another the greetings of peace along with the other Prophets before them, both wore robes and beards. Both men prayed and prostrated to Allah at proscribed times. Jesus Christ for instance would get up during the dark dawn morning, which is Fajr prayer and when he would pray, he fell on his face which Imam Omar described as sajjud. Before prayers, Muslims either do ghusl which is a full bath, or do wudhu, which requires rinsing the mouth, nose, ears, arms and washing the feet. Jesus and his disciples also performed washing before praying, especially the feet. Jesus fasted for 40 days and upon completion was full of hunger and thirst. Ramadan is at the maximum 30 days without eating and drinking and sexual intercourse between spouses during the daylight hours. By the end of Ramadan, which is Eid-ul-Fitr, the Muslims who fasted are full of hunger and thirst. Both taught the key to an everlasting life is love G-D with all of your heart, mind and strength, love your neighbor, forgiveness to friend and fo. In Al-Islam one cannot embrace this faith unless they believe these things about Jesus the Christ Peace Be Upon him: was born of a virgin birth, performed miracles, such as healing the sick, raising the dead, feeding the hungry in thousands, the one miracle of Jesus the Christ Peace Be Upon him that is only in Al-Qur'an and not the Bible is the ability to speak from the cradle shortly after his birth, ascension to Paradise and returning in the last days before the Day of Judgment. Also that he is the Messiah as well as Prophet and Messenger of Allah SWT. Mary, the mother of Jesus the Christ Peace Be Upon him is the only woman in Al-Qur'an mentioned by name. She is mentioned 34 times and there's a Surah Maryam, named after her, which is the 19th Surah in Al-Qur'an. Like Christianity, Maryam, or Mary is the model of womanhood in Al-Islam for her obedience to Allah SWT, righteousness and her raising a great and wonderful son who called the Nation of Israel to worship Allah and follow him. She is also a model for her modesty. In pictures and statues that are supposed to be of Mary, she was always covered from head to toe. This is why Muslim women and nuns cover their hair. So when one criticizes Muslim women for covering, especially their hair, they are unknowingly criticizing the mother of Jesus the Christ Peace Be Upon him. Saying Peace Be Upon him, or them is a salutation to all of the prophets. To this day worldwide and even here in the United States in cities such as Newark Delaware and Syracuse NY there are Masajid (Mosques) named after Jesus in Arabic Masjid Isa ibn Maryam (Jesus the son of Mary).

All these things may be true. HOWEVER, the MOST important doctrine of the Christian faith is that Jesus died on the cross as a sacrifice for the sins of the world, and rose from the dead to give believers eternal life. For a CHRISTIAN, this is MOST important, and the Quran does not address this. And neither does this Christian minister which I find mind boggling! IF you are going to be a teacher of the Christian faith, you better stand up for the MOST important doctrine of THAT faith. I am not debating here on which religion is true. I am just saying that a Christian minister has a responsibility to teach the doctrines of the Christian faith, does he not?

@@RaimonTarou “Verily, those who believe and those who are Jews and Christians, and Sabians, whoever believes in Allaah and the Last Day and do righteous good deeds shall have their reward with their Lord, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.” [al-Baqarah 2:62]
“Surely, those who believe, those who are the Jews and the Sabians and the Christians - whosoever believed in Allaah and the Last Day, and worked righteousness, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.” [al-Maa’idah 5:69]
In order to understand these aayaat correctly, we need to refer to the scholars of Tafseer (Qur’aanic commentary). The great Imaam Ismaa’eel ibn Katheer, may Allaah have mercy on him, said in his tafseer of the aayah from Soorat al-Baqarah:
“Allaah, may He be exalted, points out that whoever of the previous nations did well and was obedient, will have a good reward, and this will be the case for everyone who follows the Unlettered Prophet [Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) until the Hour comes - he will have eternal happiness, and they will not fear what they are going to face, nor will they grieve for what they have left behind. As Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): ‘No doubt! Verily, the awliya’ of Allaah [i.e., those who believe in the Oneness of Allaah and fear Allaah much, and love Allaah much], no fear shall come upon them nor shall they grieve.’ [Yoonus 10:62]. And Allaah tells us what the angels say to the believers at the time of death (interpretation of the meaning): ‘Verily, those who say, “Our Lord is Allaah,” then they istaqaamu [stood straight, i.e., truly followed Islam], on them the angels will descend (at the time of their death) (saying): “Fear not, nor grieve! But receive the glad tidings of Paradise which you have been promised!”’ [Fussilat 41:30]
As far as the Jews are concerning, their faith meant believing in the Tawraat (original Torah) and following the way of Moosa (peace be upon him) until ‘Eesa came, after which whoever continued to follow the Torah and the way of Moosa, and did not leave this and follow ‘Eesa, was doomed. As far as the Christians are concerned, their faith meant believing in the Injeel (original Gospel) and following the laws of ‘Eesa; whoever did this was a believer whose faith was acceptable to Allaah, until Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) came, after which whoever did not follow Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and leave the way of ‘Eesa and the Injeel that he had been following before, was doomed.
The aayah (interpretation of the meaning), “And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers” [Aal ‘Imraan 3:85] is a statement that Allaah will not accept any way or deed from anyone, after sending His Final Messenger, except those that are in accordance with the laws of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Prior to this, however, anyone who followed the Prophet of his own time was on the Straight Path of salvation. So the Jews were those who followed Moosa (peace be upon him) and referred to the Tawraat for judgement at that time. When Allaah sent ‘Eesa (peace be upon him), the Children of Israel were obliged to follow him and obey him, and so they and others who followed him became Christians.. When Allaah sent Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), as the Final Prophet and a Messenger to all the children of Adam, all of mankind was obliged to believe in him and obey him, and refrain from what he prohibited. Those who did so are the true believers. The ummah (nation) of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) are called the believers because of their deep eemaan (faith) and conviction, and because they believe in all the past Prophets and in the prophesied events that are yet to come.”
Commenting on the aayah in Soorat al-Baqarah, Ibn Katheer (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:
“What is meant is that every group believed in Allaah and the Last Day, which is the appointed Day of Reckoning, and did righteous deeds. But after Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was sent to both mankind and the jinn, true belief can only be in accordance with the way of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Whoever follows his way will not fear the future or grieve for what they leave behind.

@@Abdul-ou4py I disagree for a couple of reasons, firstly, the one in surah baqarah and maa'idah have the words in present form, saying those who believe not believed as it would refer to the people before Muhammad pbuh. Secondly, the other ayah in Al-Imran says whoever seeks, which is an active term, meaning someone that is actively searching for truth and implying that they rejected Islam, not those who weren't actively seeking and already following their laws. And finally, the last ayah, it is ensuring that those who follow Muhammad pbuh truly have no fear and be lead to salvation because it is the truth BUT that doesn't imply the inverse being that it ensures those who do not are doomed. The tafsir and the evidence you have brought doesn't affirm your claim whatsoever.
