This is a great tip, and one that's not really talked about a lot. You hear the typical, "Raise your hitting elbow", but that's not telling you HOW to raise your elbow, so the common notion is to do it by way of your hitting shoulder being the pivot for the lift, rather than what your saying, which is raising your elbow using your core, while keeping your two shoulders and hitting elbow in alignment.
