the term "hybrid" should not be used for any vehicle that does not plug in... And you should not be sloppy by using the abbreviation "EV", when you should be specifically saying "BEV" and "PHEV".
Hi @Panameradan6860, hybrid electric vehicles do not plug in and cannot be charged by external equipment. EV by modern definition stands for "Electric Vehicle" which by classification incorporates BEV, PHEV, HEV and FCEV. As you can see, all acronyms have "EV" and are represented as such. They are all electric vehicles in varying degrees. Thanks for your comment!
