Hello Ryan. My name is Monica. I'm from Spain. In the next months I will have a similar surgery. L4 - L5 - S1 spinal fusion. Your testimony is a little spot of light in my darkness. I'm not a cowardly but I have fear. Your videoblog is wonderfull and encouraging. Thank you
Hi Ryan. My name is Margi and I am having my posterior lumbar decompression fusion surgery Wednesday. The day after tomorrow and just watching your video helped me feel better about going through it. Thank you and I really hope you are doing well. Thank you ❤️
Thank you for being courageous enough to put your journey on TH-cam...it takes a lot of courage and strength..helps me feel I can go through it as well...
Thank you I'm doing great! I'm very very happy with my results! The pain relief was almost instant after surgery then I just had surgical pain after the meds wore off. They had me up and walking the next day. That is actually the best thing they told me the more you walk the better you feel. Staying immobile will makes the pain worse, that goes for after you're home too. Walking is your best friend! I hope this helps and you get relief soon.
What a helpful video diary Ryan. I have the same surgery in 2 weeks and my story is strikingly similar to yours. I especially liked all your helpful ideas in how to get prepared. I'm making a list. Thanks for the taking the time to help others. God bless you.
Are you doing better after over a year after the surgery? I'm contemplating similar surgery after failed discectomy. I'm just too afraid of the surgery and failed outcomes that you read online. Do you have any limitations such as bending over or lifting heavy things? I'm a guy so what's heavy for me might be little different. Any adjacent disc issues? I know I'm asking a lot of questions and I thank you in advance. By the way, you're really pretty and I'm not being creepy.
