How are you feeling now?
@@maureengriggs3266 I’m feeling great 100%
@@ryanmalpica4974hi, this video is from 10 years ago. did you have any other surgery after your l5-s1 360 fusion?. Did you have any complications after surgery?
Thanks for making this video you helped me a lot. Continue to do better and Blessing's to you. 😊
Thank you sooo much for this video. It really is an inspiration to me!!!
Wow have times have changed. Now they get you awake and send you home. Which they shouldn't. You should have to stay at least one day.
I want to thank you for sharing your story, insurance companies are CRUEL and inhuman. I had therapy injections injections in the S I joints a very painful procedure, I had a failed Laminectomy surgery. I have a Slippage L4 L5 I had MRI'S images of the Slippage got opinions of several surgeon's they all agree I need a Fusion surgery. I have an upcoming appointment with yet another surgeon and I'm ready to go forward with the surgery. I don't don't know what is gonna happen with the insurance company I suppose they will make things extra difficult as they are A HORRIBLE NIGHTMARE!
Now that it's 9 years later, how are you?
Thank you! My case is a little similar to yours, and it was very encouraging to see someone else had pain alter their quality of life. MS is another challenge to diagnosing if pain is more related to MS or to the multitude of back issues presented on MRI/CT….i am eager to see how your procedure goes and if effective in living with less pain.
Hi Ryan. My name is Margi and I am having my posterior lumbar decompression fusion surgery Wednesday. The day after tomorrow and just watching your video helped me feel better about going through it. Thank you and I really hope you are doing well. Thank you ❤️
I am having mine on this coming Thursday. I hope you are healing well 🫶🏼
How you doing n0w?? Have you any baby after surgery??
I’m doing great! I can confidently say I am 100% back to normal that I’ve started exercising my body regularly with yoga and meditation. Prior to starting regular exercise I would say I was 85-90%. I did have a full term pregnancy in 2017, which I believe was 3 years after my spinal fusion. The pregnancy went great!
@@ryanmalpica4974 ohhhh that's amazing, really happy for you....
Just wondering if you ever researched seeing a Gonstead chiropractor? Hope your doing well.
No I did not research a Gonstead chiropractor. I’m doing great, thank you!
I have had both knees replaced and I got a walker and bought a apron that attaches to the walker if i need carry something.. I bought some stuff off of amazon they have a lot of great stuff. I am lucky my husband works from home. I am going to be in hospital for 4to5 days. sleep on your side put a pillow between you knees at night. I will be wearing a brace for about 6 weeks unless I do better. I drive a Mustang so i don't know about driving for awhile. they told me the no blt no bending no lifting and no twisting. a brace i would think would help with that. when you go to dr visits put a kitchen trash bag put on the seat just lay it there and when you get set down it is easier to put your body in the car cause. my dr said when i set up from bed your head and legs should be moving at same time. they showed a bed rail that slips between the matterass and box springs it makes it easier to pull yourself up. My bed sits very high and I have to get a small step to use to get on the bed. when you brush your teeth get two glasses one to drink out of to wash your mouth out and one to spiti in so you don't have to bend over. Hallo, how are You doing now?
Great! I have no limitations
Thanks for the info. I am 75 and I need spinal fusion so Listening to your experience has helped me.
I own a peak flow meter for my asthma, I had a L5S1 fusion as well. It didn’t work I have nerve pain in my left leg and so much pain I also had my surgery in 2020 so I was by myself most days. So I’m happy for you with your surgery.
Great to hear that you ask God for help. Praying for a speedy recovery and healing. I’m 4 weeks into my spinal fusion surgery. It’s a tough road. I’m praying to Jesus for his healing power.
Thank you!❤
I am exactly 7 weeks post op from my L5/S1 360° spinal fusion. I appreciate you sharing your experience with your viewers. I haven’t seen many videos on The 360° spinal fusion. So thanks for sharing yours with us. Cheers!
You’re welcome. Best of luck to you on your healing journey!
Hi Ryan, How are you doing as of 6/13/2022?
I’m doing great! I had a full term pregnancy in 2017 with no complications from my back. I have no limitations and am so glad I chose to do the surgery.
@@ryanmalpica4974 All the best for you, ty.
Think of how you felt before the surgery 🤔 I had l4,l5 s1 Dec. 19 takes time !! Don't rush anything !!! Left right up down the healing but you moving forward slowly!!!❤ excellent video keep the faith 👍
My surgery is May 18 . This is my second round !!!!
Best wishes to you 💜
Hey hope you are still feeling great and wonderful
I am still feeling great and wonderful, thank you! I wish you well.
I am so glad it worked for you.. God bless you.. my back surgery didn't work at all. Bad mistake for me.. please take it easy. Thank you for the updates..
I noticed that you do the same comments in every back fusion person!!! Is someone paying you lol
Is it possible to recover 100%
Everyone had their own recovery rate. I’d discuss that with your surgeon they would know best.
How are you feeling now????
I feel great and only regret I didn’t get the surgery sooner. I have no limitations and have been pain free since surgery.
@@ryanmalpica4974 that’s amazing 🤩 I hope I can live pain free one day very soon ❤️
@@ryanmalpica4974 when fusion is done after the surgery the surgeon takes the screws out again? I have heard they are very big and massive and annoyed the person
@@vortex21rainz26 no I still have all my hardware in with no issues. My Surgeon said The only time the hardware bothers anyone is if they are very underweight/thin or if the hardware screws become loose.
@@ryanmalpica4974 can become lose after fusion?
can i ask who is your surgeon?
My surgeon was Dr. Cameron Carmody at Texas Spine Consultants in Addison, TX. Even almost 7 years later I’m doing amazing, recovery was relatively quick for me and I was off all pain medication 6 weeks after surgery. I have no limitations or restrictions. Best of luck to you.
How are you feeling now ?
How are you feeling now???
How are you feeling now after 6 years
How are you feeling now after 7 years?
So informative. Thank you so much! I am scheduled on October 5, 2021 for L5 S1 fusion.
Thank you! I wish you the best and a speedy recovery!
I don’t know if you still look at these comments, since this was posted almost 8 years ago. But, I wanted to tell you that 1. You are gorgeous, no need to be camera shy. And 2. I’m so glad you decided to make this diary. Of all the videos out there, I relate to your story the most. My 360 spinal fusion surgery is Sept. 17th, and I am both excited for relief, and terrified cause surgery. I felt like your video was God speaking through you directly to me telling me to be brave and have faith. Thanks again, Lindsay
Incenitive Sparometer is the name.
Thanks for sharing this I'm a month out from my 360 L4-l5 surgery and looking for what to expect. When you said you had almost lost hope and prayed to God for the first time in 15 years that melted my heart. I am so glad your surgery was successful and to hear from your in the comments below. Thanks for the information and encouragement, may God continue to bless you and yours.
Thank you so much for your videos! (Even 6 years later) they are truly helpful ☺️
What's on your tongue
Just had it done..best ever
@Ryan: how long did you have to use the walker? How are you now?
Wait... Did they cut your stomach or back??
How long did it actually take for your abdomen to go down to normal size where it was before? I had my 360 spinal fusion almost 3 weeks ago and it is getting better but I'm wondering if it will continue to go down or not
I know this was a year ago you posed this comment, I apologize for just now responding, but it took about 5 weeks I believe to go down
Wow.... had a L4-5 transformational Lumbar Interbody Fusion 7/1/20. Ended up in the hospital for 5 days due to extremely low blood pressure. Couldn’t have pain meds for this reason and was only able to get to the bathroom and back to bed. Didn’t get to a walk in the hallway until the fourth day.
How u feel now ?
Did you get your nerves burned in the lower back as well
🙏
Just curious how long after surgery did you start a normal life again? How are you feeling now? Were you nervous before surgery?
the apron on the walker is a good idea 👍
Thank for your video. I'm having surgery soon. I'm having multi level. I 360 fusion L-3-S1.
Hi tanya. It's been 7 months since you made this comment. Can I know that how are you doing now??? Are you painfree now? Back to normal?
@@makeupbykhani8178 . No still having some pain. I'm almost 5 months post op. Waiting for my fusion to take place. The doctor said about 6 months. Will keep you posted on my progress. Thank you for being concerned.
@@trpayne617 yes please update about your condition. Can I know when you started to have back issues??? And have you gone through any other surgery before your fusion??
@@makeupbykhani8178 . I started having back pain about 5 years ago. I had a laminectomy 4 years ago. I had a 12 hour procedure anterior and posterior fusion. Praying that everything is going to be ok.
@@trpayne617 alright I wish you heal soon. Actually I'm more interested in knowing about your laminectomy surgery.... at how many levels you had it and what were the results of that laminectomy ?????
Hi Ryan! I am so happy that I found your Video Journey as I am scheduled for a 360° Fusion (Anterior and Posterior) for L4-L5 and L5-S1 on May 20th. I’m not sure if I missed the update of “What you need/Don’t Need” after surgery. Any Tips, Tricks or advice would greatly Be Appreciated.
Thank you Ryan for the videos. I enjoyed watching them all. You gave a lot of great info about before and after the surgery. Very helpful. Thank you again.
