I've only played DA:O and DA:I, so I don't know what DA2 was like, but from playing the other 2, i can say this DA:O had less cinematic and visually amazing combat, but combat felt more meaningful (for one, there were heals outside of focus-based abilities) and paced. You had to time abilities, and there were plenty you could choose from to truly stylize your gameplay (for mages, at least. Rogue and Warrior looked pretty interesting too). For Mages, there were glyphs and buff and debuffs galore. There were sustained abilities which costed a portion of your total mana/stamina pool, which had neat effects and altered combat. Also, stat points felt more meaningful, as Willpower expanded your mana pool, and cunning affected your persuasions and strength improved intimidation. Without going much further, there was more free-pathing feel to your character than in any other DA game. DA:I was much more cinematic and efficient with it's combat system, but yet lacked meaningful combat tactics, though the AI was sufficient. Everything feels cooler, and abilities interact with one another a lot of the time, where DA:O relied more on elemental design. Combat felt honed in and together, but lacked that free form flow of origins. In DA:I, you can also reassign ability points with Tactician's renewal. So, I like the smoother combat of DA:I, but DA:O still had a good combat system, even if it wasn't as cinematic. Oh and yeah, f*ck finishers in Origins, it's fun to see it at the end of combat every now and then, but it gets old fast af.
Only three words pop up in my mind every time I watch these: Love. Them. All. If there's anything to complain about, it's only the gameplay of all of the three games are not really match what they sold us in the trailers. DA2 animation combat is the best though, especially when your Hawke mage was able to slash his/her staff blade in melee combat. Only for your mage inquisitor to only smash their staff on the ground even your enemy is looming in front of you to beat the sense out of you.
My character in DA:O was OP. I played as a battlemage with the Arcane Warrior specialization. Lmao dai had a lot of trailer amd many of them where promotional. Also i dont understand. Another originals nostalgic cunt said the trailers don't look like the games but now that they do you cry
The other day I was thinking about which of the three is the strongest. While the Hero of Ferelden is very strong and his deeds very meritorious ... Hawke stopped a Qunari invasion, Killed an ancient God, killed Templars, blood wizards, demons, Orlei men. The Inquisitor did the same but on a large scale, he did not save a kingdom or a city ... he saved the whole world from the devastation.
that may be true on both accounts but the inquisitor had an army to back him up and well Hawke... is a bad ass and all but he didn't stop the invasion on his own and the ancient god (no clue what you are talking about [was it that guy we killed in DA:I]) and yes in terms of experience he has the advantage but the hero of Ferelden has quite a few things going for him for one he has a strength /stamina advantage from dark-spawn blood two he killed something that only he can kill since he is one of the only grey wardens i his country besides Alice another thing is that he in-game has more power than either (the Inquisitors mark does not count since it had to be cut off along with his arm to save his life i forgot if that was in the DLC or not). but to counter Khairiaris i think Hawke and the hero are about equal in terms of strength in lore but both are stronger than the inquisitor now if we asses their possible weapons and companions the inquisitor would win since he has access to almost god tier weapons by late game (the hero does to but only 3-4) while technically the inquisitor has infinite and in terms of companions the champion would win since has access to morgan and a mage that is as experienced or more experienced and powerful than hawke by endgame also he has Alistair another grew warden with his same buffs another good example would be whats her name from the mage tower she is considered one of the best healers in the country and is the best healer in-game (besides you if you choose route). now the if we are talking all forces at their disposal i really couldn't compare hawke since i don't know how many people he has by the endgame but i have an estimate and his are lesser than all of Fereldans forces i do believe the inquisition had enough men to take on quite a few countries so i would give it to the inquisition since not only that but they had assassins and a massive information network and also highly trained men (yes yes militants do to so Fereldan would technically not have a disadvantage but only Templars and knights would be well trained since most of the other parts of the army would be farm boys and peasants). so in the end if it was a 1v1 hero of Ferelden and Hawke tie, if it was party v party it would be hero of fereldan, if it was army v army it would be the inquisition, and if it was gear v gear it would be inquisition. so over all Hero of Fereldan and The Inquisitor would tie while hawke maybe more experienced and powerful than both in magic he still could not compare in any other aspect.
Hawke killed or temporarily stopped Corifeus, that's a great merit. He killed Qunari's military leader, which is no small thing. He killed a very experienced blood sorcerer and a Meredith with red lily enhancing his abilities. In the 1 vs 1 Hawke is not at all useless. The Inquisitor in turn has the mark in his hand, which although eliminated at the end of the game, can send anyone to the veil. It is possible to set the scales in favor against the Champion or the Guardian. And The Guardian ... well, although Origenes is the game that I enjoy most of the three, I believe that from the military experience it can give battle ... but it is not more than another gray guard, very powerful, but fought against the ruin as Duncan would have done it.
the jade Dude HoF didn’t end the Blight or anything alone either. Technically the Inquisitor is the more powerful in terms of abilities, politics, and military strength. Though it doesn’t really matter because I think that eventually we’ll get a game where all of our heroes team up down the line. EDIT: Just noticed you referenced Wynne as the HoF’s best healer. Sorry to break it to you but she died in the books :/
Really? I can't remember encountering them in my many many playthroughs... other than that one time my character was aged to look like Divine Justinia after a patc,h but that was fixed xD
There's a few I encountered, but the one that made me stop playing the game recently was the one quest with Solas where you have to help a demon spirit thing, you can Google it if you want.
@@johnpantag472 Solas' quest literally breaks if you approach the demon thing in one of his quests from the wrong direction, but of course I only learned that it was broken several hours later, and couldn't go back to an earlier save.
why else would he be in the deep roads, fighting darkspawn, when there's no sight of the archdemon, i imagine that door can only be opened by grey wardens whenever they do whatever the hell he did, and they'd only do it when they hear the calling.
No pe even if that's true, it still worked on me, I saw that trailer and a couple of my friends told me I should play the games, so I bought them all, and I've loved them ever since
I remember people were so mixed about the dwarf characters. One half complained Oghren was a generic dwarf, and the other half complained that Varric deviated too far from a dwarf.
So i guess the canon characters for Bioware are Human Warrior Warden (Sword and Shield) - Mage Hawke (Blood Mage) - Human Warrior Inquisitor (2H) I would love to see this trailers with a Dwarf Warden or Inquisitor or an Elf even a Qunari (Not DAII)
I always felt like Human warrior, Mage Hawke and Elf Inquisitor fitted the characters most. I mean, human noble really has the best, most discussed Origin in game. Mage Hawke has the most interesting dialogue options and reactions. And the elf inquisitor feels best because a non-mage human is too normal. The world has almost no reason to be suspicious of the inquisitor at first. I like to imagine that under the helmet in the trailer, the Inquisitor has elf ears. Though that's almost certainly not the case XD
Last (DAI) trailer is easily my favourite, followed by DAO's first and DA2's trailer. I used to watch the Breach trailer almost 3-5 times at high school and it always gave me some newfound energy... ahhh good times
funny how the silver eyes and eye smoke was never a thing, and that it took second game to give us the awesome grey warden armor, and there wasnt a special fun fighting style with staffs and it took a dlc to give us hawke's trailer staff, and it sucked balls lol, and hawke's spirit arms ripping enemies to shreds
Duncan narrating, Isabela's betrayal, Varric inside the Hanged Man. Bull smashing frozen demons. God. I am about to finish the trilogy for the 3rd time and DA4 is nowhere to be found.

People that have played Dragon Age: Origins don't like it. Just the matter of suffering by comparison.
Because the story was weak and more of a grind fest for crafting mats. If you played DAO or DA2 you will see how weak the plot was in DA:I
@@BaldYetiFilms to be fair though alot of people decryed the adding of multiplayer
And what has it all turned into...
Even at its weakest (DA:I) Dragon Age trailers are more bomb than most other franchises
Lmao dai had a lot of trailer amd many of them where promotional. Also i dont understand. Another originals nostalgic cunt said the trailers don't look like the games but now that they do you cry
Crazy how these look nothing like the actual games.
Cinematic trailers usually don't
8:30 if only Iron Bull could TRULY do this when fighting a giant, what a sparing of healing potions that would be !
Sten looks like a football player in his armor
Finding yourself back here after after 15 years, not excited about the new Dragon Age game at all..
The Inquisitor and The Champion combined cannot hold a candle to the Hero of Fereldan...
Well in future red cliff the world ended so it looks like the HOF and Hawke could not save the world....
the jade Dude HoF didn’t end the Blight or anything alone either.
I like the concept of the dai trailers if only they did more companions
Love how Insquisition to this day, still has game breaking bugs and quests that straight up don't work...
Thats funny i havent encountered any on my thousands of hours in the game. Only once where a camp didn't work or a quarry that didnt appear claimed.
@@johnpantag472 Solas' quest literally breaks if you approach the demon thing in one of his quests from the wrong direction, but of course I only learned that it was broken several hours later, and couldn't go back to an earlier save.
@@MrNomis1999 thats funny. i was using the fly mod and went to that quest from inside a wall and it worked.
the warden really does want to die, as he is killing darkspawn, WITH HIS FUCKING MOUTH OPEN.
he is immune to blight though since he became a grey warden, the blight would only kill him when he has the calling
why else would he be in the deep roads, fighting darkspawn, when there's no sight of the archdemon, i imagine that door can only be opened by grey wardens whenever they do whatever the hell he did, and they'd only do it when they hear the calling.
San Zaynus or when stabbing the archdemon
They aren't 100% immune to the blight. they just delay it for 30 years
no they dont. its just price for that.
In memory of the fallen company that is BioWare, we do not recognise veilguard as dragon age at all.
The first trailer in this video is very good, it tells you anything you can do while playing the game. Giving orders and tactics.
Трейлеры первой части до сих пор лучшие
Have to say Inquisition easily has the weakest trailers
No pe even if that's true, it still worked on me, I saw that trailer and a couple of my friends told me I should play the games, so I bought them all, and I've loved them ever since
No pe the music is really good too
That game is so stupid. Its no longer Dragon age.
Quirrel CZ then don't play them
indeed. also, in-game graphics actually look better. how rich is that?
yeah just gonna replay DAO, DA2 and DAI and pretend Veilguard doesn't exist
Hawkes trailer will always be my favourite
Such a bad ass mage
So even in the trailers. Our warden is still the number 1 badass. #playDAquarantine
I remember people were so mixed about the dwarf characters. One half complained Oghren was a generic dwarf, and the other half complained that Varric deviated too far from a dwarf.
Oghren has insane issues and if he was completely screppaed I would be grateful.
@@Dark_Voice That’s honestly what kinda made the Origins cast better. They were all way more diverse.
Love it. Shame on you Bioware for that CRAP of Veilguard
So i guess the canon characters for Bioware are Human Warrior Warden (Sword and Shield) - Mage Hawke (Blood Mage) - Human Warrior Inquisitor (2H) I would love to see this trailers with a Dwarf Warden or Inquisitor or an Elf even a Qunari (Not DAII)
well in actuality canon, or rather default story, is a dalish female warden, male mage hawke, and human rogue inquisitor
What Elin said. The trailers aren't the story defaults... just what they figured would sell the game. Well, with the exception of Hawke.
Matias Mattera Hawke uses Crushing Prison, which makes him an Arcane Warrior.
Fairly certain the warden is a sword and board Arcane Warrior because of all that funky Fade shit with his eyes
All of these cinematics were great but the come up for Inquisition was astounding lol
Well with recent announcements, look forward to an updated version of this video :D
Damn! Leliana knows how to play!
Dang the DAO trailer makes the characters extremely athletic
Only two DA I'll ever recognize is DA:O and DA:I the rest could fall into the void and never be spoken of
The Origins ones are the coolest
i always felt bad, after seeing how bad Cassandra handles her sword, there.
Last (DAI) trailer is easily my favourite, followed by DAO's first and DA2's trailer. I used to watch the Breach trailer almost 3-5 times at high school and it always gave me some newfound energy... ahhh good times
Everyone insulted inquisition and now look where we are 😂
The battle between the Arashok and hawk is...questionably...more...more...brutal
Arishok*
The old trailers made you feel pump up! STEN!!!!!!!🔥🔥🔥
even in the trailer origins is the most badass one
Dragon Age always has the best trailers! I can't wait for dragon age 4.
A lesson to all mages, please do not engage warriors in melee combat without relying on your magical abilities, you will lose every time.
How i miss original. The veilguard looks like a Disney cartoon
I really wish Leliana would have been a party companion in DA:I. 😭💕 Vivienne is such a queen. 👑
My fave was dragon age 2 cuz its easier to play and the story was intresting in my opinion
only Dragon Age Origins can save us from the Veilguard.
What is a pitty about the inquisitor is that somebody had brilliant idea to take out most the battle music ingame!
What's with the glowy eyes? To look cooler?
Aaron Lee Pretty much yeah
That. Justified in that this is to show that Grey Wardens can detect Darkspawn presence.
bruh glowy eyes are awesome i wish i had glowy eyes damn stop hating
funny how the silver eyes and eye smoke was never a thing, and that it took second game to give us the awesome grey warden armor, and there wasnt a special fun fighting style with staffs and it took a dlc to give us hawke's trailer staff, and it sucked balls lol, and hawke's spirit arms ripping enemies to shreds
Those are some sweet trailers - can't believe I hadn't seen any of them before!
Bio ware did Grey Wardens so dirty in DA inquisition.
I get pumped watching DA O trailer. Then i get pissed knowing what happens in DA I
Duncan narrating, Isabela's betrayal, Varric inside the Hanged Man. Bull smashing frozen demons. God. I am about to finish the trilogy for the 3rd time and DA4 is nowhere to be found.
