I Hope Veilguard does well But I don't think it will be better then Dragon age inquisition to be Completely honest

These trailers are beautiful in their own rights. Definitely some really great moments! Really enjoyable to see the teamwork in the trailers too. There is still hope for DA4 I think there will be a lot of lore and character development and choices and I'm excited for factions and whatever else they throw at us after 10 years! Stay positive, we will see so many places in northern Tevinter that we didn't have a chance at before! We're in this together

And here we are folks, look at these trailers and compare to the horror that is Veilguard, if you doubt me, take a look at the gameplay for Veilguard too. Thank you Dragon Age, you were brilliant once. RIP.

So, watching all of these trailers in sequence and then the Veilguard one there is a very distinct tonal shift, to the trailers. DAO, 2, and DAI all came out in about 5 years of each other and it's been 10 years since DAI, so I think the trailer was aimed at marketing Veilguard to a new audience who are used to a different visual style, like how the Pokémon anime's style changed over 15 years. That said I can absolutely see why people who loved the first three games are worried/putoff/etc by the Veilguard trailer, it looks like Fortnite. BUT, having gone and watched gameplay footage of it and comparing to the other three, visually at least it looks fine, like a mix of 2 and Inquisition. The gameplay itself though is what worries me as it's moved even further from CRPG to ARPG, one of the biggest complaints about 2.

From this peak of greatness and epicness spirals down to that hot mess of a game called Veilguard.

Broooo even Inquisition had BADASS trailers whats wrong with the new one ?! i mean the gameplay is fine but the trailer WAS SOOO BAD!!

and you have this "veilguard"...

And then we get Fortnite: the Dragon Age Veilguard DLC

With Inquisition they started the pus woke shit and now they went full OY VEY!

These trailers walked so that Veilguard could be paralysed from the waist down

So.... they would showcase the Dragon Age games as male characters, only for players to later on find out you can also play as a female character without any advertise for it? AND not to mention when they were making Dragon Age and Mass Effect, they actually the female model first before using the male models?

I remember people were so mixed about the dwarf characters. One half complained Oghren was a generic dwarf, and the other half complained that Varric deviated too far from a dwarf.

The Mark of Chaos trailer is absolutely sublime. Age of Reckoning trailers lore wise are a bit of a cringe fest but they had to show it was an online game so it still makes sense thematically.

Worse thing then chaos. The fuckin greenskins

i love the fact that in the sacred ashes trailer mostly everything they do is exagerated from what stuff you can actually do as abilities in game. (shield bash, walking bomb, shapeshift. enemy taunting etc)

The origins trailer music seems pretty ridiculous. Generic metal to give it a superficial "badass" feel is hardly appropriate to the actual tone of the game.

I wish I grew up with armored core I only had armored core 4 but this is badass
