The scene is really evolving Nick. I have used some scalescenes texture papers but not their kits. All looking good. I made the conversion to the Epson refillable printers last year for just the reason you said. Stephen
That is a SERIOUS amount of printing!! Do you find the fillable Epsom tanks really good value then? I’ve always shied away form them but for no reason I can put my finger on. How much is a bottle? I think I pay about £15 for a tiny number of ml in a Canon cartridge.
@@Rule1ModelRailways Worth also looking at the Wordsworth Model Railway kits and brick papers, all the downloads are free and they also do a great sheet of modern road signs
@@Rule1ModelRailways That sounds fantastic at a great price. Love your model by the way, I’m building a large model in n gauge but mainly scenic with long runs. Also like the idea of I trains so I can make is fully automated, using the DR5000 and all the other digikeijs units like you
I've used Tesco basics, anything gsm80 is fine, and thicker card for more structural items. You can print stick the gsm80 to 1mm card, and that works really well.
Layout is really coming alive with these additions. Thanks for the look-see into the road scenics, lots of good stuff there. Cheers!
Thanks for dropping by Anthony! :D
Hi Nick, it’s looking good, big fan of the scalescenes products 👍🏻. Cheers Geoff

12 euros for a full tank and a bit of each colour, lasts ages!
Also Epsom ink is very very good compared to other brands.

Brilliant!!!! I am going straight there!
Looking great. Which kit is the retail park shop fronts and the Macdonalds only I can’t see them on scalescenes website?
All of those came from eBay as card kits
What actual model is the Epsom printer you use and roughly what is the cost
Epson ET-2600. Bought for €129 and not needed to buy more ink yet, three layouts in, one a really big one, plastering them all in printer paper.

A bit more voice volume would be helpful for future reference. Cheers.
