You did good on minnows,We went Saturday with some minnows and caught 6 off the power lines and 2 yesterday off jigs on Limestone Lake.These were in 14’ and apparently live minnows is the trick right now in July/Aug.
Yeah man big ones are on stumps here in under 10 FOW I haven't been catching 2+ lb fish but nice ones 3 to 4 fow has been money it's crazy last year total opposite u just never know about them crappie lol y'all stay cool out there enjoyed the vid 👍

july/aug is minnow season. I had to work like a dog for about 20 last sunday on jigs. I will say, a minnow tipped jig will make fish happy. Also, finally finding bigger fish 12-15 ft snuggled up in timber - have to move around a lot but they pop it if you can find them.
I had to quit watching when you pulled out the livescope. I've crappie fished for 40 yrs and have no trouble catching big mess of crappie without electronics so you not going to teach me nothing
