I think your solution for the elephant molding would be too expensive to implement. The problem with the figures is not really excusable though. Nice review and view of the figures. Thanks!
I agree with you, it’s a great kit. It’ll be interesting to see how you paint them. A bit late for me because I’ve not long done mine, but will be good to see how someone else approaches it nonetheless.
I believe the elephant subspecies you are referring to is called the Atlas Elephant or North African Elephant (Loxodonta africana pharaohensis). Thanks, for the review!
I bought recently three «boxes aka Ziploc bags! ;)» (of miniatures from Victrix and I haved, espacialy for my French Napoleonic miniatures (Infantry 1807-12 / Napoleon's French Old Guard Grenadiers) something like 75% of all the sprues from the «boxes» got mold, flash, dommaged and cast issues.. (I got pictures! ). I also bought the Imperial Roman attacker and this one is very much better.. But still dammaged parts and some little issues like you show in your video! I very like the Victrix models but the quality issues need to be taking care of. I have writed to Victrix for replacement but as he says to me «NO, If you are unhappy send the figures back were we will refund you minus postage costs.» So yeah!!! I still got the miniatures and I'm still unhappy! :( ...That's the worst experience I have with customer service in our hobby!!! ...I’m aware that from time to time mold lines and plastic flash can happen!!! …And it also the first time I complain about that issue!!! So that's was my experience with Victrix!!! You will may be have better luck! ;)
Yeah , I'm thinking they should have made it at least a little bigger ....can u imagine Hannibal tryin to storm the gates with that "dumbo" of a war elephant ...quite laughable !!

Very interesting about the extinct elephants. Makes you think. The moudling does look like an issue
Brush &Quill It is my one issue with an otherwise great kit.
Great review. Try using Vallejo plastic putty. you can fill the gaps and sand it smooth
MrSuperchippy74 Thanks! I have used it before (by ‘used it’ I mean I have fumbles about with it like an amateur). That may be an option.

I suggest PVA or some varnish to folk those gaps.
