After watching loads of different guides trying to figure out where I went wrong, this video saved me! Thanks for the clear instructions, kudos to you!
I've been looking for a long time for a way to do this in my home assistant. Thank you so much for sharing. Amazing video series. Keep them coming please. It helps tremendously.
I am just in the processing of doing this myself, great to see some good english-speaking tutorials to fill in the gaps of my own knowledge. Thank you!
looks great! unfortunately I can only work in YAML mode (it's too much work to configure everything from scratch on my instance). Could you please post your yaml file for this floorplan setup?
Great tutorial, helped me a lot! But I have one issue remaining and I can't figure it out : whenever I switch the lights on individually, it works perfectly. But when I have multiple bulbs on, the light animation only works for one of them, the other animations remain dark... What's the issue here?
hey mate, it sounds when the images have been taken and the overlay is created... I have done the same issue in 1 or 2 spots and will be redoing it. when you create the overlay; you need to ensure that when overlay A is done it does not touch overlay B and other way. so when you turn overlay A on its not affecting overlay B. hope thats the issue in your instance and can solve it. let us know how it goes.
Hi Maslo, congratulations on your videos. They are fantastic and very clear. Can you tell me where I can find the syntax for all the programming in this HA, like style:, '--mdc-ico-size" :, etc etc etc. Thanks
Hello , this is great video, do you know how to fix the position within the map, independent for the screen? at the moment on the PC screen the position is different from iPad or mobile
Great video, finally an easy explanation. But I have a question, I did follow the video exactly and everything works great for but whenever you click somewhere on the map where there is no button, it still triggers the light switch menu. I see that also happens in your video. Do you know which part of the yaml code is responsilble for that , so I can fix it somehow. Thanks for the video!! Really great work!
hey mate, cheers for that. i know what you mean, i have it on my to do list to figure it out and get rid of it. ill share it if i find it and let me know if you do it before then please :)
