Watching these interviews, we realise how the movie industry and the audience have been unfair in projecting and celebrating mediocre actors as star, while these gems went unnoticed and unrecognised even after achieving so much behind the screen. Sad that only they have to speak for themselves in a very very rare interviews like this. If not through this interview, I would have never knew what kind of talent he is and about his achievements at the backend. Thanks to BR for doing this great interaction, you are the best ❤️

Unrecognized actors do not cheat the audience. They have come to act and make a living out of it. Whereas stars not even close to acting cheat, butter the audience and milk money from people. People also stand by them doing all sorts of non sense and losing their life. Only thing I feel how dumb the people are. Pathetic it is. Sensible directors also had to make movies with those. Unrecognized actors are behind the art. Stars are behind the money.

Wow. What an interview. So much to take away. A man who is in the present and now. Motivated. Driven. Ambitious. Positive. The Thamizh comedians are an extraordinary lot. It is nice to note that Charlie has documented the work of the comedians between 1937 to 1967. Equally nice to know about the effort on Tagore. Lessons on receptivity & other topics just got amplified, thanks to BR, the great listener, who gets the best out of the interviewee, encouraging him with not only wonderful questions but a most endearing smile. BR should take a masterclass to all other bucket interview journalists and channels out their on how to interview an actor based on their merit and respect their skills. Thats BR! He could have literally called Varalakshmi and Santhosh Pratap and take a usual interview. But My Man chose Charlie. Expecting such more wide angles with actors who were lost from focus. My favorite expectations are from Nassar, M.S Baskar, Delhi Ganesh, Kishore, Thambi Ramaiyah etc., etc.,

Charlie and chinni jayanth were the most underutilized actors. Ironically I don't remember them for their comic roles. Chinni jayanth was brilliant in kizhakku vasal and charlie in thalapathy

BR's reaction through out the interview is really new to watch. I actually couldn't read it well. The quite smiles through out while Charlie speaks, is it because is he is blown away or he has something running in his mind is difficult to make out. But this is definitely not the usual BR interview i have seen. I have always had great respect for Charlie, he is still fresh and dedicated even several decades of career. Am sure its all coming from his discipline in personal life.
