Not sure why people keep saying a motor is 50k. You can rebuild the old one or buy a used one with 10-20k miles for 15k. That being said, it’s still a lot of money.

That’s not entirely true. I know people who weren’t covered by Dinan when their engines blew. Also, dinan doesn’t make products for your transmissions so why would they cover a transmission?
@@Thewinnerscircle_ Big increase in torque could possibly damage the tranny. And do you know why Dinan didn't cover their repairs? Their site says that they match your factory warranty.
young 95 they won’t cover anything they don’t make. There is nothing dinan makes or mods that deals with the tranny. If you read their warranty policy, it’s very specific. This guy spunk his crank hub. He was running dinan stage 2. Something you would clearly think they cover.
Nutella be careful with Dinans “warranty”. I’ve seen a couple guys get left out to dry by dinan after something going wrong. Do your homework and read what some people have said on Bimmerpost and the f80/f82/f83 marketplace and discussion Facebook group about their experiences
I havent done it yet, but it would be for my F87 M2 competition that I just took delivery. I dont think I will do it because the M2 competition has the same throttle mapping as the M3 CS, so it bites hard, more than my old F80. Dont think I need a tune its faster already, but if I get bored I might
is there a video about your exhaust? I lithe the growl of it, and all i found on YT were only high pitched exhaust setups which i kinnda' hate and i am studying this situation for my future decision. thanks
28psi is not how much boost ur pushing...28psi is your Pre -Throttle boost ....From looking at your video you are only hitting 19psi @ 4500RPM in 4th Gear because your “Boost Pressure Deviation” say’s -3.3psi. (So that means u r 3.3psi shy of ur target psi) You have to scroll down to where it says Map psi if you want to find out how much boost you are actually pushing. I would edit the video before people start bitchin about this... Love ur videos bro !!!! No worries!!!

Just not worth the risk in my humble opinion . If the car is not powerful enough for the owner . Then buy a more powerful car .

Would adding a rear view camera void my warranty
I ended up not doing bootmod, BMW manhattan has a partnership with Dinan so I might do a Dinan tune so I have warranty.

Also Dinan charges like 3k for a starter package lol, whereas bootmod3 its just 500 bucks and you can have any stage you want

are you able to revert back to stock with BM3 to the point where BMW won’t notice you altered the PSI? Meaning ecu tuning is undetectable by them.

Honestly would suggest talking to your service advisor to see what’s ok with them if you’re trying to mod while still holding onto you warranty
