So he is the guy that keeps the trails clear of overhanging bushes .
Lmao 👏🏼👏🏼
I recently swapped a rigid Whisky fork into my hardtail and have been absolutely loving it! Suspension has its place but for 90% of my riding, rigid is great.
Safa you are one of the best out there! Your skills of course are off the charts but the documentation of the rides, love the vibe and character of it.
lol
Wow! I am late to the game, but that was impressive! The beating he was taking on a fully rigid bike, well I was there 30 years ago! Brian is a beast! I never heard him breathe! Great video, captures the essence of the ride, what fun!
Let's go and go! The rigid looks good enough for speed!
The audio has been perfect on your latest vids, great job!
That titanium hardtail is sick. And the guy can ride.
Fuckin' a right he can!
One of the few mountain bike riders without suspension. He has my respect.
Riding current mountain bikes feels soooo artificial to me with all that suspension.
That's why I like the simplicity of gravel bikes, where you have to think a lot more and choose the optimal route at speed.
I ride a rigid single speed exclusively.
A dropper post is mandatory, it allows me to move around on the bike as I'm the only suspension.
It's funny, it was bothering me so much just as the question came up. Do you think you're going ultralight on a custom XXXL frame? I don't know what's to be "stubbornly proud" about, just seems like a foolish move for style points.
That Scott MTB is such a diamond, it looks so amazing clean and I bet it handles like a dream, too. Must've been such a good ride there.
Climbed Natoma on my 32mm tires a year ago lol. That was crazy. You can see A few Holywood celebrities homes when you get to the ridge. Rad vid bro!
so sick
6 foot 10 oh jeez look how gigantic he is.
whats funny is it doesnt show because the bike really is sized for him lol
Keep it in your pants
Riding downhill with the seat post that high is insane to me lol
축복받은 땅에서 태어난 라이더들... 부럽다. 동북아시아의 작은 땅덩어리 나라엔 진짜 사나이들이 있지만, 저런 길이 없어...
FANTASTIC VIDEO !!!! whit fully rigid bike !!!!! Awesome !!!!
О великий Сафа 🤝🚴🏻
California at erly spring...love it!!
my dream is to have a mountain bike like this... congratulations great riding
This looks so fun!!!
cool, glad he was able to get a custom size bike, that always helps out
Really big man, amazing bike
beautiful route and bikes
that guy is a beast!
Had no idea where these trails led until today def taking the Hardtail out tomorrow
FULL RIGID...SWEEEEEET!!!!!!
What a beautiful bike
That was full-send!
Great ride SAFA!
love this one Safa!
Perfect leg suspension
Yeah man nice bike let's go 🎉
Nice Bike!
Nice Rig! yedvarts on rigid yew!
👑Great safa👑
awesome trails 👍
Rigid riding is sooo fun. Makes you learn how to ride better too
Waiting for the Safa Sram transmission review on TH-cam though lol. Killer edit brother.
Just ask Mollema
That is not a MTB that is a MMTB - Monster Mountain Bike. 😵💫
That bike looks like the titanium version of a Poseidon redwood. Geometry is what I would call an 'all terrain bike', something between a trail and road bike.
❤. Just needs 32 or 36 wheels for that guy🤘
Props to homie for having such massive calves at 6'10. I'm in awe
The guy really loved biking.
This tall guy is pretty impressive
What’s the weight on a titanium bike?
podcasting while riding bikes with nice views, cool niche haha
Did I hear that right?? 12 psi? How does the tire stay on the rim at 12 psi??
Dude should get Suspension then He could Run normal pressure
On the thumbnail, I thought it was a 26er. Alex rips.
6'10 is a difference type of unit. That bike is something else entirely.
Anybody have the link to the actual fork ??
well that was a warm up for Safa lol
No gloves, no problems 🫣
Does he mount the camera over his helmet?
High grade Dopamine ride, I need a hit of that!
(edited)
@@drewe9514 👊🏼
You need more traction on the front tire a few times there
Face full of Bush 😂😂😂
How’s this differ from Gravel bike in terms of riding experience?
The full rigid mtb? More stable geometry, higher BB to lower chance of pedal strikes and the improved control provided by flat bars.
@@NkB984 exactly and better tire clearance.
Look up the Poseidon redwood..it has a very similar geometry and can fit the same size tires.
When I see videos like this I think of living in New England where I'd be covered in 1000 ticks giving me 1000 doses of lyme disease.
I’d love that thing with a dropper tho
12:27 Cut the camera. Translation: I'm about to shit myself
more likely: I have shit myself and it's about to seep through.
@@pmcmpc😂😂
@SAFABrian - what wheelset is your buddy running ?!
or to anyone else watching? y'all know?!
You should try to make a cycling app with all your ride videos (making people match watts etc)
The haro Beasley DLX is 80% that bike, but maybe 80% heavier 😁
The million dollars question is, when did you find a few days of dry weather to shoot such dry trail bed vid dude😮
Dropper Post?
And no dropper! If I did that I’d have 🥜 🧈
Needs a 240mm dropper!
how cut up were his hands with no gloves- dang
No dropper post is fucking crazy what a weapon
Bro you guys semt it on yerdvarts
Lol I thought it was a 26er first sight
Shoe size 50 unreel!
Can you make a video about the microphone setup and placement?
Gotta be 10k for all that TiTANIUM.
i thought he was running 26" at 1st
Man's riding a rigid mountain bike down bumpy, scrubby single track with no dropper post or gloves 💀
a face full of booosh
Imagine Moab no suspension.
Now imagine Moab no suspension carrying 50lb bag corn.
I was running up2 400lb per both contact patch.
To understand what u really seeing here....
This man is 6'10".
The weight of someone who is 6 feet 10 inches tall can vary significantly based on factors like body composition, muscle mass, and overall health. However, here are some general estimates based on Body Mass Index (BMI):
Healthy weight range (BMI 18.5 - 24.9): Approximately 180 to 250 pounds (82 to 113 kg)
Overweight (BMI 25 - 29.9): Approximately 250 to 300 pounds (113 to 136 kg)
Obese (BMI 30 and above): Over 300 pounds (136 kg and above)
It's important to note that these are general estimates and individual weights can vary.
So we guess he is 220lb.
No suspension.
But in reality, his suspension is vastly superiour to any fullsuspension bcuz he has Ballon tires. Firthermore PSI he running 12lb front
22PSI rear 29 x 2.6 tires.
The George W. Bushslap
no dropper, just 100cm of seat post
Cut the camera 😅
All the soft guys wanting dual sus and dropper posts this 6ft 10 madman will eat you up easy as
Riding full rigid takes so much more skill. I am going to put some carbon rigid forks in for some fun and take it sub 10kg.
Lmafo cut the camera!
1st!
That guys bike really needs a dropper for them bumpy descents
does Safa have an Eagle drivetrain but Shimano brakes? The joys of not having a groupset sponsor!
Yeah, the bike actually comes stock like that from SCOTT.
Imagine spending $4000 on a custom titanium frame only to go back in time 30 years worth of technology and traction. 😅 Rolling masochism. 😂
Old school is the new school 🤷🏻♂️
Look at those “arms&knee shocks “ lol
Go to Mexico and hang with the younglings on a trail ride, gringos on suspension bikes and locals on Ridgid.
@@escgoogle3865 Nah, just because they do it doesn't mean I should. Mom always said...
After 7 years of riding a full hardtail 29er.. it's the best of both worlds for roadbiking and then honing your MTB technique to ride the thumps
제발 느그엄마랑 아빠랑 같이 자전거타고 저승가길 바랍니다 ㅎㅎ😊😊😊
