Really appreciate the video of putting the diorama together. Dioramas are something completely new to me and the LCM just cries out for something cool like you're putting together. Great tips and techniques... can't wait for the next installment.

As far as the "gun" on the Sherman, I would have guessed it was a 75 high velocity missing it's muzzle break. Now I'm no WWII expert, but I do believe some Shermans were delivered ashore via Higgins Boats on D-Day because they were concerned about the DD's actually making to the beach. And they were right, because out of the 120 DD's launched at sea, at least 42 of them sank, due to rough seas and/or German gun fire. But, there were 290 tanks used in the D-Day invasion dispersed between all but one of the landing beaches.

Hi Andy, I am working on a LCM 3 Revell version and using your ideas for the base can you pop the link for the final finished base in with water effect added as I cannot find it. Also its proving tricky with the wiring at the front to get it ot match up to the Revell diagram for how to put the bow wires into the non-exisitent rollers correctly your looks very different any suggestions.

Great stuff, Andy! I just found these first two videos and have the LCM to build and a GMC to finish, as well as the figure set. So I'm inspired to finish all of them now! Will there be a part 3 any time soon?

Nice build but these tanks had been sitting out in the elements for months,I'd expect more fading of the paint. I'd expect the LCM to have much more fading and rust in areas with steel where it gets worn away from contact with vehicles and troops.

The gun on this Sherman is a bit long and I don't recall a turret bustle being on a Normandy era Sheman. Perhaps I'm wrong. If so sorry folks. Nitpicky, huh? Otherwise beautiful job, Andy.
the gun looks like a 76mm

it was sold to a man whose father served on one in WWII
FYI. To be more accurate, you should remove the small hood that's next to the gun travel lock on the hull front. This was an Israeli modification and would not be on a US Sherman in WWII.
Where is the final work?
Antonio Manuel Rodriguez Caro someone purchased the boat and Sherman from Andy, so he remade the base into a sunken road. This is as far as the series goes

it could be a Sherman coming after they took the beach
I imagine he ruined the LCM when he tried to model the water.
