I actually had some tacobot encounters before, which impacted me enough to not play this game for 2 years, but i remember that there were some toxic guys in a mann up match, i thought they were just normal cause i didn't know what was tacobot then, they were extremely toxic, it was the last wave and they kicked a random innocent guy, for literally going pyro, just for selecting the class pyro, and i F2 on the vote, and i was kicked IMMEDIATELY after it, and then i was bullied during the vote, i posted a clip of it on yt, only to later take it down because these bastards found me and bullied me in the comments of that video, but recently ive started playing again and i see way less toxic people, have they gone extinct? hell no, probably just not existing around europe anymore.

Haven't played Mann up MVM for long time for a good reason It's become a slot machine with 6 assholes having an argument over who pulled the lever wrong.

I literally had this guy in a game maybe a month ago. He joined on a late wave and immediately started demeaning the most inexperienced player and trying to kick him. When no one would vote, he used the retry-spamming trick, bragging about “shutting down” the current server with all our progress. Thankfully everyone else in the game was good-spirited about it, and we all muted him and just hung out until he ragequit and never returned. To this day I imagine what he must’ve been screaming before he realized he was muted. 🤔
He probably destroyed the computer by throwing it down the window and then getting a hammer and hitting it hard, after that proceeding to cry in his bed for 4 hours straight, with the face totally red and screaming furiously

Me and 2 friends found 1 tacobot user during a session. He proclaimed himself as a god (he wasn't kidding, he was really telling us he was a god) and wanted us all to leave after i had picked pyro. Ofcourse, me and my friends along with the 2 cool randoms decided to stay. Ofcourse he ruins the game by staying afk. We could not kick him since everytime we tried kicking him he would write "retry" in console to rejoin the game. So we tried to do it 5 man, while this guy leached us. We thought "Well, atleast we are just dragging out his time" since we had no rush. We got to the last wave (he wanted us gone at wave 2) and after several attempts we almost gave up on kicking him. this time however , we coordinated the vote kick so everyone would press F1 before he could retry in console and magically, he got banned. So not only did he has to wait for us to do it for him while we had to 5 man the waves, he got KICKED LAST WAVE and we got a fortunate soul who got to join in on last wave. Victory for doing it as 5 man, and wasting a tacobot users time for nothing. Tbh the best moment in MvM for me.
They actually used to put people on tacobot just for getting a pan. These extreme levels of envy are a clear indication of a manchild whose psyche never developed past the age of 5.
I know the guy from the voice chat, he used to be moderator on a community I mapped for, he along with a few others tried exiling me from their community because they didn't like my map. This video is hilarious.
I find it quite funny that they (tacobot) complains about people being toxic, yet they themselves come onto people’s’ servers and act completely toxic to every normal player. They’re the PETA of TF2. They proclaim that they’re so great and others are bad, but then when you actually look and do your research you find out they’re literally the thing they say they’re combatting.

I remember joining a game with some of those names. They told me not to medic or kick, so I asked what class? No reply so I switch to soldier, with about less than 10 seconds to get upgrades because they all readied up and didn't give me a reply to which class i should switch to. After the first wave they called me trash and kicked me off. Funny how I checked their profiles and one of their description says (If you can't teach it, kick it). Bruh mfw I ask for advice and only met with silence and trashtalk.
People are just naturally dick heads, I went medic one time to fill and some ass called me a retard and told me to switch to heavy or soldier. Turns out the dude was cheating, had aim lock (This was on big rock mecha engi). during a wave I hopped onto the high rock he was chilling on when no robots were spawning and dude was screaming at me calling me a retard to hop off the rock and draw agro (which is understable if robots were present). Then when a tank spawned and only the tank spawned I went after it with some soldiers and the aim locking sniper was yelling at me again telling me to hold front line when the tank is the last spawn. The experience is something else really.
I really don't see why the gas passer is disliked in MVM, it can shred through groups of bots in seconds and would actually decrease the time needed to complete the mission
@@maude7420 The gas passer is best for clearing the small bots (including medic bots) but if there’s a giant soldier and giant medic combo for example, switching to demoman before the wave starts is probably the best idea or find a way to have both classes

The Source Engine bots are BRUTAL when they're set to maximum difficulty, as I painfully found out after joining a training server that I started to see what it was like

Saw the Herald guy complaining in the Potato.tf discord about him and his friends being automatically banned. It's great to see they can recieve as much negative karma as they dish out kicks and insults.
I was a friend of Herald, he was rather toxic towards his friends but in a joking manner and was overall nice. But when it really started was in 2015 or 2016 when he was still a donator on Blackwonder. He applied and got accepted. That's all I know how he got admin but I when I joined back around late 2018, he was a rather ok fellow at the start, but I saw how he really was when I joined the discord. He may've had my back at times, but to see him being this toxic isn't something I can call a friend nor can I even comprehend how he was still holding onto that admin position for so long. I hope he does find something within him to stop this toxic behavior after he was demoted. I knew his toxic side of MVM but never got to see much of it myself. The man isn't the best but he surely acted like himself and mayyyy have abused his powers at times, but it is definitely sad to see him become like this so badly to the point where he gets himself booted off the staff team.

as someone who is a big fan of mvm these players legitimately make mad on a whole new level. Sure i can get annoyed at players in casuals, but I never call a vote unless they were afk, cheating, or throwing (in the case of refusing to help in games with small teams like 6v6, where 1 person just doing something else wouldn't matter in a team of 12, for example), but if someone is doing as small as playing a class they like, even if it isnt most useful for mvm or not pressing f4 right away, sure it may annoy me on occasion but nothing to kick them for. And if these guys are trying to ban people just having fun and playing their way and claim to "clean up the trash", it's one of those things that make my skin turn a new shade of red.
my first game of MvM a scout instructed me on where to play everything (i was engineer) and why. sad to hear that new players are getting kicked for being bad. for the record, i ended up doing the 2nd most damage on that team (behind said scout). if you teach new players, they can get better.
Something interesting that i've noticed is that one of the guys in your video, Herald11, has become essentially the mascot of tacobot, with an entire collection of videos on youtube dedicated to showing footage of his egotistical tantrums.
i actually know Herald11. he admins a jailbreak server i used to play on frequently. once he gaurd banned me because i accidentally teleported across the map (it was in gaurd spawn) and was sticky jumping to try get back with the gaurds. he was also just generally a really strict warden, and killed anyone that didn't follow every rule to the letter.
Finally someone made a video on tacobot I had an experience where they ended a wave 5 match because someone went off medic .2748 seconds lat after they asked

There's something that really disturbed me about something that TacoBot said in the about page for the site: "he currently offers features such as scanning all the MvM servers currently running, *recording all games of any listed player independently of its visibility status*, and many more." ...Recording games of listed players? That doesn't just sound against steam's community guidelines. It sounds straight up _illegal._

Making your data private only for people to take that data and make it public(say for example your home address or phone number) is illegal and goes against Valve's terms of service(why else would they let ppl make their data private only for others to steal that data?) While it may only be the list of games played, it's still private Confidential data that only Valve and the player should know. Stealing that data is in the grey area at best, if not downright illegal(especially if you're hacking valve to get that data)

Unfortunately two of my friends were members of the Tacobot community. I didn't understand, their only argument was that they dislike "low tiers" and want the game done as fast as possible. Even after the Tacobot Website went down they still think they are on the "good side"

Even if the dispenser gets destroyed, a good engineer wouldn't care much. The reason is that they would just rebuild, then use upgrade canteen. That will only cause a slight annoyance
I once played whit a engie who was super nice. I was heavy and he would always try to move the dispenser to where ever I was standing. Never was rude about it and never told me what I need to do. Plus he was super good as his sentry barely ever was destroyed during the rounds. Then you have morons like this who can't even place dispensers in the right dispenser spot.
Heavy burns through ammo the fastest out of everyone in the class roster. He is also the slowest so it is strategic for heavies to fight around the dispenser. The further he strays from it, the longer he will be out of the fight when he has to run all the way back to the dispenser to refill his ammunition. I am not saying to fight directly on top of it, but you don't want to waste tons of time making frequent and lengthy treks to the dispenser. The farther away he is, the more down time he is going to have where he is not helping the team.
I hate the perfect run people, like yeah, some of the maps are annoying at the start without as much money, but come on, lose one round and suddenly there are only two people left on the server. if you want to do a perfect run, get some friends to join you, get in a party, and don't make others suffer cause you're perfectionists, it's just annoying.
to be fair, the only reason i do it is because the engineer has built on last, won't listen, i die trying throughout the wave, most of the team is trying to make the engineer work with the team and end up not shooting at the robots like me and one other guy, and then we lose. and i don't want to votekick because then we'd spend long enough waiting for a new guy that other people leave anyway.
I hate people like this. I'm actually new to the game too and during my experience in mvm, I and some people have been abandoned by many perfectionist players who leave just after one failed wave. Although there are some random teams I joined that actually adjust to fit in more for the wave. But, they are rare now a days. I never really understand why they would just leave like that and it has been bugging me every time I see one leave. Its also annoying and discouraging, making other people leave as well and I hate it. I have a passion hating on them now ngl.

I actually known herald11 from a community server because he is an admin on all of their server and yes even outside of MvM he is the definition of toxic and thank you for bring up the situation we are in.
I knew him in the past aswell, I was part of that community server and even was part of his discord. I thought it was a cool guy, used to play alot of jailbreak with him, until he became an admin in that community server. It was then that I saw his true side, the coldest admin ever and a complete dick. And seeing his behind this group makes me even more disgusted.

I remember getting kicked a long time ago because there was a medic that wasn't healing anyone else in a casual game of MVM because he had a soldier boyfriend to take care of. I went medic and they freaked out because there were two medics, and I was apparently trying to go against the apparent monopoly they had on healing.
Ironically, the sweaty tryhard high-tours are usually really bad at the game, because they've adapted to playing the meta and... literally nothing else. Do they know how to play spy? no. I actually remember being extra-hyped when MvM was announced, I always loved co-op. But after a few weeks of getting kicked for wanting to play Sniper/Spy, being entirely blamed for the loss of one round because I was playing Engineer, kick threats if I didn't played a certain class, and tryhards complaining about the ammount of damage you did at the end of a round. My sanity couldn't take anymore and I've never touched that mode again. So thanks for calling these people out, I didn't even knew a stupid fucking idea like tacobot could exist, although, dumbasses exist everywhere, so I shouldn't be that surprised.

My friend plays spy all the time and they would probably kick him just for picking spy for 1 second. He's an asset to the team even as spy. Another friend plays sniper at the same time, we actually do scout-less MvM and wreck expert with it.

@@cristianardonmonge836 The problem with Spy wants to accept it or not is that whatever this class can do, another will do it much better and with less risk of dying easily. I don't want to sound elitist, but in my missions in potato.tf in advanced and expert I have had teams where there was a spy and after trying it a third or fourth time I cordially ask the player if he can switch to a less useless class and if he does we suddenly won the wave Mission 666 in itself is not a good map to suppose how good an mvm class can be, since this can be very easily overcome if you know well what upgrades you should improve, it can be overcome with 4 players.

I think they need professional help, if anyone who does this in game thats 15 years old and is a gamemode for fun such as this, not competitive. Please go see a psychiatrist. In my 5 years or so of life coaching and counselling, I've genuinely never seen someone so absorbed in power; its consuming him. Kinda sickening to me at least, I hope this guy and who ever else is doing these types of things, is getting the help the need. This might just be in a game, but the way they are acting carries over most definitely into real world situations. Possibly having NPD or narcissistic personality disorder, which is a severe mental disorder, and again from my experience... I see it in this individual.

Yeah, it cost 100 metal, and saves around 6-7 seconds, not to mention that you can start reloading/healing it immediately, and there are a medium ammo box literally next to you, as well as your dispenser down, still in range. I actually had some tacobot encounters before, which impacted me enough to not play this game for 2 years, but i remember that there were some toxic guys in a mann up match, i thought they were just normal cause i didn't know what was tacobot then, they were extremely toxic, it was the last wave and they kicked a random innocent guy, for literally going pyro, just for selecting the class pyro, and i F2 on the vote, and i was kicked IMMEDIATELY after it, and then i was bullied during the vote, i posted a clip of it on yt, only to later take it down because these bastards found me and bullied me in the comments of that video, but recently ive started playing again and i see way less toxic people, have they gone extinct? hell no, probably just not existing around europe anymore.

I literally had this guy in a game maybe a month ago. He joined on a late wave and immediately started demeaning the most inexperienced player and trying to kick him. When no one would vote, he used the retry-spamming trick, bragging about “shutting down” the current server with all our progress. Thankfully everyone else in the game was good-spirited about it, and we all muted him and just hung out until he ragequit and never returned. To this day I imagine what he must’ve been screaming before he realized he was muted. 🤔

Me and 2 friends found 1 tacobot user during a session. He proclaimed himself as a god (he wasn't kidding, he was really telling us he was a god) and wanted us all to leave after i had picked pyro. Ofcourse, me and my friends along with the 2 cool randoms decided to stay.
Ofcourse he ruins the game by staying afk. We could not kick him since everytime we tried kicking him he would write "retry" in console to rejoin the game. So we tried to do it 5 man, while this guy leached us. We thought "Well, atleast we are just dragging out his time" since we had no rush.
We got to the last wave (he wanted us gone at wave 2) and after several attempts we almost gave up on kicking him. this time however , we coordinated the vote kick so everyone would press F1 before he could retry in console and magically, he got banned. So not only did he has to wait for us to do it for him while we had to 5 man the waves, he got KICKED LAST WAVE and we got a fortunate soul who got to join in on last wave.
Victory for doing it as 5 man, and wasting a tacobot users time for nothing. Tbh the best moment in MvM for me.

I remember joining a game with some of those names. They told me not to medic or kick, so I asked what class? No reply so I switch to soldier, with about less than 10 seconds to get upgrades because they all readied up and didn't give me a reply to which class i should switch to. After the first wave they called me trash and kicked me off.
Funny how I checked their profiles and one of their description says (If you can't teach it, kick it). Bruh mfw I ask for advice and only met with silence and trashtalk.
People are just naturally dick heads, I went medic one time to fill and some ass called me a retard and told me to switch to heavy or soldier. Turns out the dude was cheating, had aim lock (This was on big rock mecha engi). during a wave I hopped onto the high rock he was chilling on when no robots were spawning and dude was screaming at me calling me a retard to hop off the rock and draw agro (which is understable if robots were present). Then when a tank spawned and only the tank spawned I went after it with some soldiers and the aim locking sniper was yelling at me again telling me to hold front line when the tank is the last spawn. The experience is something else really.

I was a friend of Herald, he was rather toxic towards his friends but in a joking manner and was overall nice. But when it really started was in 2015 or 2016 when he was still a donator on Blackwonder. He applied and got accepted. That's all I know how he got admin but I when I joined back around late 2018, he was a rather ok fellow at the start, but I saw how he really was when I joined the discord.
He may've had my back at times, but to see him being this toxic isn't something I can call a friend nor can I even comprehend how he was still holding onto that admin position for so long. I hope he does find something within him to stop this toxic behavior after he was demoted.
I knew his toxic side of MVM but never got to see much of it myself. The man isn't the best but he surely acted like himself and mayyyy have abused his powers at times, but it is definitely sad to see him become like this so badly to the point where he gets himself booted off the staff team.

as someone who is a big fan of mvm these players legitimately make mad on a whole new level. Sure i can get annoyed at players in casuals, but I never call a vote unless they were afk, cheating, or throwing (in the case of refusing to help in games with small teams like 6v6, where 1 person just doing something else wouldn't matter in a team of 12, for example), but if someone is doing as small as playing a class they like, even if it isnt most useful for mvm or not pressing f4 right away, sure it may annoy me on occasion but nothing to kick them for. And if these guys are trying to ban people just having fun and playing their way and claim to "clean up the trash", it's one of those things that make my skin turn a new shade of red.

my first game of MvM a scout instructed me on where to play everything (i was engineer) and why. sad to hear that new players are getting kicked for being bad. for the record, i ended up doing the 2nd most damage on that team (behind said scout). if you teach new players, they can get better.

i actually know Herald11. he admins a jailbreak server i used to play on frequently. once he gaurd banned me because i accidentally teleported across the map (it was in gaurd spawn) and was sticky jumping to try get back with the gaurds. he was also just generally a really strict warden, and killed anyone that didn't follow every rule to the letter.

Making your data private only for people to take that data and make it public(say for example your home address or phone number) is illegal and goes against Valve's terms of service(why else would they let ppl make their data private only for others to steal that data?)
While it may only be the list of games played, it's still private Confidential data that only Valve and the player should know. Stealing that data is in the grey area at best, if not downright illegal(especially if you're hacking valve to get that data)

That Engi was painful to watch, he thought he was an expert yet he was one of the worst TF2 players and MvM players I have ever seen
Even if the dispenser gets destroyed, a good engineer wouldn't care much. The reason is that they would just rebuild, then use upgrade canteen. That will only cause a slight annoyance
I once played whit a engie who was super nice.
I was heavy and he would always try to move the dispenser to where ever I was standing. Never was rude about it and never told me what I need to do.
Plus he was super good as his sentry barely ever was destroyed during the rounds.
Then you have morons like this who can't even place dispensers in the right dispenser spot.

Heavy burns through ammo the fastest out of everyone in the class roster. He is also the slowest so it is strategic for heavies to fight around the dispenser. The further he strays from it, the longer he will be out of the fight when he has to run all the way back to the dispenser to refill his ammunition.
I am not saying to fight directly on top of it, but you don't want to waste tons of time making frequent and lengthy treks to the dispenser. The farther away he is, the more down time he is going to have where he is not helping the team.
I hate the perfect run people, like yeah, some of the maps are annoying at the start without as much money, but come on, lose one round and suddenly there are only two people left on the server. if you want to do a perfect run, get some friends to join you, get in a party, and don't make others suffer cause you're perfectionists, it's just annoying.
to be fair, the only reason i do it is because the engineer has built on last, won't listen, i die trying throughout the wave, most of the team is trying to make the engineer work with the team and end up not shooting at the robots like me and one other guy, and then we lose. and i don't want to votekick because then we'd spend long enough waiting for a new guy that other people leave anyway.
But that would imply having friends to play with.

I hate people like this. I'm actually new to the game too and during my experience in mvm, I and some people have been abandoned by many perfectionist players who leave just after one failed wave. Although there are some random teams I joined that actually adjust to fit in more for the wave. But, they are rare now a days. I never really understand why they would just leave like that and it has been bugging me every time I see one leave. Its also annoying and discouraging, making other people leave as well and I hate it. I have a passion hating on them now ngl.

I thought it was a cool guy, used to play alot of jailbreak with him, until he became an admin in that community server. It was then that I saw his true side, the coldest admin ever and a complete dick.

I actually remember being extra-hyped when MvM was announced, I always loved co-op. But after a few weeks of getting kicked for wanting to play Sniper/Spy, being entirely blamed for the loss of one round because I was playing Engineer, kick threats if I didn't played a certain class, and tryhards complaining about the ammount of damage you did at the end of a round. My sanity couldn't take anymore and I've never touched that mode again.
So thanks for calling these people out, I didn't even knew a stupid fucking idea like tacobot could exist, although, dumbasses exist everywhere, so I shouldn't be that surprised.

jesus a friend linked their website to our group that plays mvm and I wanna say that it's crazy they'll try to do retrybots but somehow I'm not surprised. I know I got on only for defending a person playing pyro, because I wanted to let people have fun. they're fuckin crazy and we've been having to mainly travel in groups of at least 3 to avoid people like that lmao. thanks for bringing the retrybots to the public.
My friend plays spy all the time and they would probably kick him just for picking spy for 1 second.

Another friend plays sniper at the same time, we actually do scout-less MvM and wreck expert with it.

I don't want to sound elitist, but in my missions in potato.tf in advanced and expert I have had teams where there was a spy and after trying it a third or fourth time I cordially ask the player if he can switch to a less useless class and if he does we suddenly won the wave
Mission 666 in itself is not a good map to suppose how good an mvm class can be, since this can be very easily overcome if you know well what upgrades you should improve, it can be overcome with 4 players.

I think they need professional help, if anyone who does this in game thats 15 years old and is a gamemode for fun such as this, not competitive. Please go see a psychiatrist. In my 5 years or so of life coaching and counselling, I've genuinely never seen someone so absorbed in power; its consuming him.
Kinda sickening to me at least, I hope this guy and who ever else is doing these types of things, is getting the help the need. This might just be in a game, but the way they are acting carries over most definitely into real world situations. Possibly having NPD or narcissistic personality disorder, which is a severe mental disorder, and again from my experience... I see it in this individual.

Yeah, it cost 100 metal, and saves around 6-7 seconds, not to mention that you can start reloading/healing it immediately, and there are a medium ammo box literally next to you, as well as your dispenser down, still in range.
