Probably more accurate than my Henry AR7. Doesnt likely float, although I supplemented spray foam in the AR7 stock for a extra safety margin as a canoe gun. Ruger better with capacity. Ruger more snaggy/less self contained when collapsed. I wonder if a receiver peep will hold zero with assembly/disassembly/knocking about. All kit guns are winners. Thanks Allen! You looked too happy whipping it out!

I got the satin black ruger with the flash suppressor/threaded barrel. I opted for the black on black option. Looks slick.

Of my entire collection, my Backpacker is one of my favorites. It's unique, compact, uses cheap ammo, is quiet, very accurate, has a great price point, and is the epitome of reliable. Simply a great gun and it's one of my two units for my 72 hour kit.

Would make a nice lil small game set up. Throw a tlr25 on top. Be able to break it down going to a d from the truck and not have people looking all concerned at you.

The barrel is definitely not free floated. Shouldnt be a deal breaker because its not meant for long range anyway, its a 22

I need HELP I put this on my 10/22 and it has changed the whole rifle, the point of aim is way off now. around 20 inches low, nearly impossible to get the front bead on top of the rear triangle (factory sights) Had a bushnell red dot on it but I took it off because the dot wouldn't move low enough to get on paper. seeing that I removed it and thats how I found the rifle completely changed its aim....anyone else had these problems? I sure could use some advice

He missed one of the features.... On the bottom of the pistol grip portion of the stock is another small water-resistant compartment.
