      They are not police and no longer involved in proper policing, they are just corporate security doing surveillance. The British Government is now a corporation registered with Dun and Bradstreet. Is the government and police now illegally involved in citizen surveillance and actually not representing or working for the people of Britain.

      No it is not because they used no Act to detain, so it is just a word then, that can be ignored by AB - but he obviously prefers to stand there to get the video. Unlawful detainment is either physically preventing without any Act used, or using the incorrect Act to detain.

    Should a plain-clothed Police Officer not offer his warrant card after detaining someone in a public place and claiming that he is a Police Officer? Secondly, what is a Police Officer doing challenging someone for taking part in a perfectly lawful activity in a public place?

    Great video, AB! You never fail to provide us all with great and very important entertainment, so thank you very much for that! I wish I was as good as you at this.. Last time I tried, I wasn't aware of the danish law, that requires you to identify yourself upon request from a police officer and got arrested for not doing so.. I got pushed out of a public area by a G4S security guard, but the police didn't feel like that was enough for charges against him. Much love from Denmark!

    Now what seems true is that at certain police station, is that it's very difficult to make the difference between a police officer and an animal in a zoo.
    One thing is sure, in both cases, it is forbidden to feed anyone or anything moving !

    Brilliant! When they thought they were dealing with a potentially vulnerable, timid, frightened person, they were all militant and aggressive. As soon as they saw that you knew exactly what your rights were, you were immediately left alone. Did the perceived threat just mysteriously disappear because you were confident about your self?

      Coppers look at everyone as criminals and should be treated as such. That's what their taught at police school.
      Come to Australia where the coppers pepper spraying or tazer old people , killing them before even questioning.

    How can it be possible this day and age, that even one single police officer in the country is as ignorant of the law as these twits? Its absolutely ridiculous. He can take as many photos as he wants from a public place. You MUST create your own privacy. If a photo can be taken...then you are absolutely free to do so. Please, please, please...can we have some police officers with a slight bit of intelligence! Five year olds know this stuff for Christ sake!

    I love this kind of interaction. Police are actually trained to do this, to coerce information out of the public, with half truths and bullying and they can get away with it too. The police are actually permitted to lie to the public in order to gather intel. Still doesn't stop the puckering of their posteriors when they are caught doing it on camera though. Then they rely on the "why are you being unreasonable sir, we are just having a lovely innocent conversation, what do you have to hide?"
    And they wonder why the public has issues trusting them...

      Police have to be careful not to fall into the section 26 trap. If they're seen coercing laws to benefit themselves or' other clubhouse playmates',it's an offence. Of course they bend the law. " Oops' I forgot' to tell you of body worn camera being on".

      That's why they are "working" in an Investigation Centre, can't deal with the public, or the criminals, or each other.       It's just absurd to allow an activity by law and simultaneously panic when someone practices it. Just pass a law that prohibits filming police stations. That would make much more sense. You can for sure question , investigate and so on but don't abuse your powers , don't infringe on people's rights , and don't treat people based on their level of understanding the law. They should be educating people about their rights and freedoms. Those two , if they had a chance, would infringe on every possible right you have.
