I love this kind of interaction. Police are actually trained to do this, to coerce information out of the public, with half truths and bullying and they can get away with it too. The police are actually permitted to lie to the public in order to gather intel. Still doesn't stop the puckering of their posteriors when they are caught doing it on camera though. I love this kind of interaction. Police are actually trained to do this, to coerce information out of the public, with half truths and bullying and they can get away with it too. The police are actually permitted to lie to the public in order to gather intel. Still doesn't stop the puckering of their posteriors when they are caught doing it on camera though. Then they rely on the "why are you being unreasonable sir, we are just having a lovely innocent conversation, what do you have to hide?"

It's just absurd to allow an activity by law and simultaneously panic when someone practices it. Just pass a law that prohibits filming police stations. That would make much more sense. You can for sure question , investigate and so on but don't abuse your powers , don't infringe on people's rights , and don't treat people based on their level of understanding the law. They should be educating people about their rights and freedoms. Those two , if they had a chance, would infringe on every possible right you have.
