Hi Alex! This was a great video. I am a larger lady and require a little bit more than a yard of fabric, but I can still take advantage of some of the choices you used to share with us today! Have a blessed day, my friend.
Love the detailed info you provided. This Spring I’ve been making baby rompers for gifts, and to stretch my theme-based fabric to include a matching bib, started cutting patterns on a single piece of fabric versus on the fold. Amazed at how that can really stretch the fabric. I really like that first t-shirt pattern you mentioned-love a back seam since it helps with my fitting issues. Thanks again for presenting this topic.
I make hinge frame victorian purses using a coffee can for making the pattern. If you use velvet upholstery fabric they turn out very pretty. Also camisoles can be made with only a yard. And ribbon or lace can really jazz them up or extend your fabric.
I agree with the velvet upholstery. I usually don't care for the makeup cases I see in stores and the three I made with the dark blue velvet upholstery fabric are my favorite. I have enough room, they feel luxurious and I made them!!! Adding ribbon and lace... that is another great idea!
Sorry - I didn’t explain myself! I meant to ask for your thoughts on blouses generally - any amount of fabric! I absolutely love the Franklin pattern! Can’t wait to try it! Thank you!

Hoping it gives you a few ideas on some great patterns you can make.

Great video Vogue has the best remnants 😁
Their remnants area is so big it’s almost overwhelming!!!!!
Love your videos 👍. What is the name of that French website where you got the free pattern for a vest ?
Maison Fauvre
Great suggestions! More blouses please!😊
Blouses are a tough one with one yard of fabric when we throw in the sleeves but I promise to keep looking.
