Wow! What a massive effort to produce the mineshaft. I would have been gutted if I was building that and the bloody plaster failed to cure! I can imagine the swearing! Cant't wait to see it all finished and now really curious for the future of Hughes Garage. You put so much effort into producing these vids, huge well done!🙂

That would be cool having a scene for your Batman cars to be seen. Possible makings of a bat cave lol. As always love the video and looking forward to many many more.

The method of plaster cloth over the timber frame is the exact right way of accomplishing the look you’re after. It’s a shame the stuff you got was garbage. I prefer using regular medical gauze and plaster of Paris. It’s just never failed me. In this application, I’d put down at least 2 layers. Once it hardens, it’s literally like a cast from a doctor’s office. You could use Sculptamold inside the tunnels to refine the look of the plaster cloth. If you wanna get real detailed, you could scrape out parallel lines in various sections to make it look like the tunnel was drilled and blasted. IMO An ore deposit would be a neat touch. A little metallic paint and a light shining on it to make it pop. “There’s GOLD in them thar hills!” 😂

Run the track up. Across over window but roof it in with mirrors. As it moves you can still see it. Pikes 🗻 peek. Up wall, across, and back down. Easy to switch out a single to send up. Or a pair to race just peek route only.. NO ONE USES THE OBVIOUS... WALLS.
Also a turn around built of inners of cut corners from GO tracks creates the tights corner possible. Thus single up and run back down same path. SWEET IDEAS. TY TIM.
Oh gosh batcave on the wall. Single lane in and out. OK. But somehow get a turntable in cave. exit track correctly powered " you ready to go out..zoom" cave track pwr is always isolated. You ready to exit..switch cave exit/entrance pwr then exit. Better switch upon exit..... I'm electronic engineer... 67 yo kid.. hi
Turntable pwr is off until exit. Car stops into cushion.. with car the table turns 180 and stops. Track pwr enabled. Ready for you to hit the BAT LIGHT and enable the BAT
Bat cave. Have car set to controller 1. Turn on cave track power and poof bat car active and you appear. Switch out to enter cave and turn cave pwr off.
