- One of the things that first confused when I moved to Canada was how to preserve to the Nigerian foodstuffs that I brought into the country.
Those foodstuffs had travelled such a long distance from Nigeria and I wasn’t going to let them go bad because of improper preservation. I didn’t see a lot of videos here about this topic but I was able to figure out what has worked for me.
I documented how I preserved my Nigerian foodstuffs and I’m happy to share it with you. Enjoy!💕💕💕

You didn't get to see videos on how to preserve foodstuffs there, and then you had the initiative to document yours and help others. This will definitely be useful to lot of persons. God bless you❤

I see youuuuuuuu😍💕💕💕
It's the emphasis for me, e be like you been draw your ear as you dey talk am "fridge o, not freezer" 😂😂 Teacher B😂❤
You can even store the cray fish, pepper, egusi and stock fish in the freezer .
I even stored beans in the freezer and nothing dey do ham.
I stored my ponmo dried like that in the freezer, I only do soak the ones I need.
I store everything in my freezer ever iru and I live in Nigeria. I do that cause I do bulk buying that we take us for 4months
Oh nice. There’s ALWAYS light here and the fridge is just as cold as Nigerian freezer kind of cold with the irregular electricity there. So imagine how stone cold the freezer here will be. I can’t be craving ogbono on the spot and be bringing out iced ogbono, iced atagungun. Wetin be that. It’s my 5th month already and everything I stored the way I stored it is still very fresh. Everybody with their own method
Where did you get this ponmo from? I am interested
Mama, please when I'm travelling out, please give me your list too😢😅
😂 okay
Which market did you get all these stuffs in Lagos please?
Oyingbo market
Is there no curry and thyme in Canada that you had to buy from Nigeria?
When you’re going to a foreign country for the FIRST TIME, you’ll literally pack everything packable because you don’t know what you’re going to meet or not meet there! Every single thing in this video is available in African stores here in Canada, not only the curry and thyme that you want to beat me for. If e reach your turn ma, buy all your foodstuffs here in Canada. So sorry for buying it from Nigeria ehn🤲🏽
This preservation method will favour you and your family😂😂😂😂
Yes it will😂😂😂😂
