Me too... I was like if bts tried it then i should do too... So i came here looking and i showed it to my mom for asking her permission to try this (i m not much of a cooker)... She surprisingly agreed because i think she thought that this wasnt much difficult but it was a mess when jimin and rm made it so i was afraid she wont allow but i think she just probably thought u should only whisk it so there wouldnt be any mess... Not so sure about reality though...lets see what happens after i make it....

@@Lifestyle8 Take a machine whisk with out machine and roll with hands for 2 min in mixture. Voila!
It took me 20min with a fork, 10 to 12min with a whisk and 3min with a handmixer so yeah if you don't have at least a whisk its just not worth it.

I do it directly in the mug cup using a small spoon and then I add hot milk, I do that since 12 years ago, when I was 13, I saw a guy doing it at a beach coffee shop in Tunisia.

Make a normal cuppa hot coffee and add a lil of this dang mixture on top, stir and voila you get a fancy cappuccino sans a coffee maker. Tastes better too 🤷

Please stop calling this a "new thing" ! I'm 45 years old and this was already being made exactely the same way in Brazil during beginning of the 80's. In every wainting room you would hear employees beating up this very same mixture by hand to serve what we called a "café espumante" (moussed coffee). This is just recycled material...
My thoughts, too. In my country we call this frappe and it's as old as your version.. :/ (and btw it takes us literally 30 seconds to make it fluffy... not a century)

If you use an electric mixer on high speed it's actually really fast

If you want to reduce the time.. first add few drops of water and stir it will b hard to mix but the coffee will change its color in a mint or 2 then gradually add little amount of water until you get required consistency. It will take 5 mints and you are done.

This was AMAZING😍 I made this as well as that one pan egg sandwich that is popular right now... best quarantine breakfast ever. When you can't get Starbucks, make this! A lot cheaper too! Tip: if the coffee is too bitter for you, put vanilla extract in the milk! Tip: if you want a mocha, try it with chocolate milk!
