There’s just something about Strohl and Hulkenbergs Awakenings that Hit so hard, First is Strohl having the same goal as MC having the same ideals to create a better world elevated by Stewart Clarke’s VA while Hulkenberg which is her desire to Save and protect the prince which comes full circle at the pivotal point of the story. I definitely prefers them to persona awakenings. Those always make the protagonist sound either evil or selfish. I know that’s not the case, but it always bugged me.
Okay, in your own words, what is an Archtype in this story? For me, I believe it to be one's heroic spirit taken form. The microphone they pull out of their chest represents them voicing out their truths and ideals, the strengths along with their flaws and morals which makes them who they are. When they take that out, it is a sign of speaking from their heart, a vow which rings vows. All heroes have this moment when they speak out like the warrior they are as they stand against injustice. The armored form these characters obtain is a sign that their flaws and what they believe in makes them a powerful warrior and a great hero, like a knight in shining armor.
I dont think it is like that. Multiple times they mention that this power awaken from our own weakness. They get the power because they se face to face their own faults and instead of falling into dispair they take conttol over their own hearts (taking their frozen hearts with their own hands and commanding then to obay). People that can control their own hearts create the melancholy being both side of the same. Magic being fuel by negative emotions. The difference is sucumbing to then create the magic that convert people into monster while controling create the magic that convert people into heroic champions. Pd what i trying to say is that ganing an archetype isnt about being a hero or a champion of justice but the power of being true to oneself regarless anything. Reason junna just go and have it almost efforlest. She is sure about who she is, about of what she hate about herself and about what she want to do with her life.
