While frustrating at first glance, I really loved how this fight works and presents itself. Starting from the Three Masks, it's a new "spin" on Lucifer, using Dante's vision with three heads and poor souls (the race's puppets) in its mouth, and then once you have dealt with them Louis reveals his true form: a broken and fallen angel of death. In a sense, this is the most SMT reference you could possibly ask for a final boss.
It makes sense why we can't use it 1st is not even on the archetype tree 2nd it is **literally** the entire team plus the ship of course we can't use it

To me, the battle against More was beautiful. He absolutely refused to have Will, his only son die to a truly dangerous foe and fought to keep him someplace safe but unreal, while Will wished to keep to his ideals and fight for his wishes for the real world to the bitter end, even if he may perish.
I just beat it and wanted to see the ending again. This to me is truly the best Atlus game ever. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for this series.

Actually beat this in one try but it took almost an hour, heismay carried with removing turns using the royal thief passive and used juna to induce weakness to fire/light and then my protagonist to deal one of the two damages while keeping one in reserve for when a puppet appeared. Had a large reserve of the 50 mp consumables.
Ngl i think that martyr's gambit cutscene is such a copout when they all appear fully healthy and intact, saying "our wounds are healed 😊", also felt a bit like Digital Devil Saga 2
Final boss sucks. The difficulty curve is horrible and basically requires you to grind and redo so kuch just to go back to it. I did it, but man is it unfun.
This was an incredibly hard final boss on hard and i'm glad. I managed to beat it with Prince Will, Royal Berserker Basilio, Royal Warrior Strohl and Royal Dancer Junah with Mercy Mask. At first this comp sounds unbalanced but somehow it works out extremely well when you deal a quadjillion damage every turn. Wasn't easy nevertheless but very fun.
Man not gonna lie this boss is really difficult I came so close to beating him but failed it’s just the last phase that gets me it just feels like no matter what I do I’m just gonna get easily clapped I can pretty much pass the second phase easily but it’s always this last phase that gets me and it just idk man I don’t want to rage quit but damn hopefully I can beat it soon because if I knew I would get soft lock once I was in Mores room i wouldve grinded more

This boss was so much, but SO much harder than any of the boss in the rest of the game its crazy ! Jeez it was stressful, I got him with only my main character alive with 50 HP, did one final blow and I somehow got him, wow ! What a game.
@@maximefraisier1010 yeah for real what I did is, I made sure that within every turn, I buffed myself and debuffed him with the move that lowers his attack defense and evasion so within every turn, he had to choose sometimes he would do both to get my buffs away or my debuffs that I did on him but I mostly relied on Basilo to do the heavy hitting and having Hulkingberk be the healer it was a constant back and forth back and forth back and forth until I noticed that when I had him at low Health he frowned that’s when I knew he was gonna do the BULL SOUL SCREAM MOVE! So I made sure to save the move that the prince archetype has that let you have 4 extra turns it was literally thanks to that that I was able to get the final hit as the main character who did 4,976 damage and just like that I won I like the good boss but goddamn it literally almost made me rage quit the game if there’s one thing I would say is that if they ever make a sequel please, for the love of God remove soul scream from the bosses move set and if they choose not to then give them less turns like please FOR THE LOVE OF GOD MAKE THEM STOP SPAMMING THAT MOVE!!!
Good Lord that last phase is killing me from the inside, that soul cry is making me rage. And that other move that takes away my turns. Even defending I get clapped so hard 😂

What level are you against him? Are you using the Royal Archetypes, if you need to grind, the crystals in the Tyrants Star respawn infinitely, and go for AOE

I like that I had to go through 2 fights and 20 minutes of story just to realize my build didn't work for the last fight. Having to reset and go back to use a build that worked was awful. Absolutely terrible boss.

The 2nd and 3rd fight in hard mode is straight up unfair unless you come overleveled...
I beat him easily in hard mode, i was lvl 79, i don't know if that is overleveled or not
My damage dealer is just strolh and MC, but once they hit, the damage is always above 10k, sometimes lower

Heismay was the MVP for me during the last phase because he kept dodging attacks and thus making Louis lose his turns.
