Hans Zimmer is a music genius for sure.
Nailed every score sent to him. He even scored The Critic and knocked that out of the park.
What about james Newton Howard? Hans did everything digital in the movie and james did everything regarding orchestration and composition.
Newton also made the sad emotional parts.
Hans Zimmer, Thomas Newman and James Horner (RIP) are my top 3 favorites composers!
Genius is an overstatement. John Williams is only True music genius from Hollywood i know. Zimmer is ok but most of his compositions are based on Richard Wagner's classical musics.

This is an amazing piece by Hans, the part at 2:52 is really memorable, I immediately noticed it when they reused it in the sequals for Joker and Miranda’s last scenes, how the hell did this not make the cut on the Batman Begins OST album?!?!?

Regardless of what you think of Nolan's Batman, you have to give him credit for making Batman a badass again. Last time we saw him before this film was Clooney.

2:50 I like how this part of the theme, along with few others, have become a staple theme for the trilogy. That part plays in all 3 movies when the main antagonist finally loses the fight. First in Begins, right before the train blows up and Batman glides away, secondly in TDK, when Joker falls off the building and finally in Rises when Talia's truck falls off the road.
The as the villains lose, they fall. Only just noticed that. Ra's falls to his death. Joker is thrown off a building, but then saved by the grappling gun. And lastly, like her father, Talia falls to down to her death in the truck.
plus also you notice Jokers fall is a nod to Batman 89? only thing is Joker has a better outcome than the 89 version and he's saved by the grappling gun.

I want somebody to put together all three scenes of the villains in The Dark Knight trilogy being defeated and have them play simultaneously:
Batman flying out of the train and leaving Ducard to die;
Batman tossing the Joker out the incomplete building;
and Talia careening hood-first into the gap in the road
I love 0:42 - 0:58. They used that piece in all 3 movies. Usually connected to Batman directly or indirectly doing something heroic to save people during the final battle. First it was allowing Gordon to use the Batmobile to stop the train, then Batman taking down the Swat guys before they could accidentally kill the hostages, and then Batman directing the missles back at Talia's men and destroying their tumbler.
I don't think this one is even in the official soundtrack. Damn shame.

Well yes and no as he usually is at the limit to the amount of Lazarus pits he can use after 600 years he is on the verge of falling apart and the pit has a temporary effect he has to constantly put himself in whenever it begins to wear off.
In a way he is immortal also in Nolan's movies, as revealed in TDKR.
