I can see no one bothered to comment, so I might as well start it off, the direct was S tier, Mario Party got me the most, and just so you know, all the concerns you had about this new Mario Party like forced to use single joy cons, don’t worry, it’s been confirmed that motion control minigames and single joy cons as a whole is just optional, meaning you can play with a pro controller or in handheld mode, but these motion control minigames won’t be playable online, speaking of playing online, all game modes, including the main mode everyone loves has online support, it’s not just the koopatholon mode, which by the way comes from Mario Party Star Rush on the 3DS.
Paper Mario was never "killed off". Sure, there was a decline in quality at one point but the series was always alive. The same can't be said for the other Mario RPG series, whose original developers literally went bankrupt.
