I would love to witness this for my self this is my top favorite game of all time , nobody beats this game not even to this date! You guys did an amazing job great story like & creation. I appreciate all the game designers of this game!
Moviemakers from Hollywood should listen and learn. Another thing is that the goals are different. Remedy made a piece of art, film studios produce commodities.
Yes, they are. But I dont understand why they arent as big and rich as other studios like Rockstar. e.g. Alan wake has sold around 3 million copies whereas GTA 5 has sold 150 million.
This video explains how the up-coming Alan Wake Remastered was able to have all the cut scenes re-rendered with new character models and assets: they've got all the original source code sat on a shelf in its own PC. Man, if only studios like Konami and Square Enix had the good sense to do that.
the feels man, i have played Remedy games since i was 7 and seeing this brought me feels. This guys are so awesome. Now I want to become a game developer even more.
I don't know if you're interested, but there are other characters played by Sam's acquaintances - Vlad by Marko Saaresto and Vinnie by Olli Tukiainen (both are members of Poets of the Fall). I believe his brother also played a role, though I'm not sure who exactly. Also Angelo Punchinello was apparently played by Sam's janitor. ;D
Coming back here after they got permission to redo their iterations of Max Payne and the resources to do Alan Wake 2 hits _way_ differently! Wake is returning in 2023 while Payne is returning in 2025 🤧
If they have PC with final build of MP1 and MP2 it will be nice if they decide to patch both games to work properly on modern PC i know there are unofficial fixes but some players are dont know about this and they refuse to play these masterpieces

@Manek Iridius Yeah seems like every fan calls it underrated. I've heard of that game way too many times, we get it, its making the player feel guilt, its not that original.
This is a treasure room, impressive Remedy's care and affection for its products and its history, in the future one can create some kind of museum for fans to have access to this content. I love the franchise! I do not really like 3, but it's still a good game. ;) Essa é uma sala dos tesouros, impressionante o cuidado e carinho que a Remedy tem para seus produtos e sua história, no futuro pode-se criar algum tipo de museu para que os fãs tenham acesso a esse conteúdo. Eu adoro a franquia! Não gosto muito do 3, todavia ainda sim é um bom jogo. ;)
Well, maybe because noone gives them enough money on that. First Alan Wake didn't met publisher's expectations, Microsoft wanted new IP and not the sequel of project which is financial failure. Now Remedy owns Alan Wake franchise. But they still can't afford to fund their games themselves, not in AAA scale. And Alan Wake 2 obviously demands a lot. First game is acclaimed classic right now and fans expectations are high as fuck.
@@soknheith3259 Over 3 million copies sold, financial failure... Yeah.. In the first few weeks it wasn't a hit, but over time it grew that's why financial backers are scared. Makes me mad.
I don't agree, while 2 did enhance the gameplay the story was pretty weak and all over the place, also the level design was lacking and so many areas were reused, even voice actors were reused a lot much more than the first game.
Yeah - sorry, but Max Payne 1 was brilliant. Max Payne 2 was a slightly washed out attempt to pad out the storyline into a 2nd game. It had good ideas, but Max Payne 1 was revolutionary and far superior to Max Payne 2.
@Ashtro 101 Second this. Even though I still like MP1 a lot, MP2 is definitely an improvement in story. Sam Lake really fleshed out Max Payne, as a character, in the second, rather than relying so heavily on the revenge plotline character tropes as he did in the first one. Which, to some degree, still worked, but felt spent by the time you get two-thirds of the way through the game. And while the plot writing was bit tighter in the first, I would say that the second made up for it in general story-writing.
Thanks everybody for the positive comments. Glad to hear you liked seeing our warehouse :D
That was long enough to get me super excited :D even hyped
I've been a Max Payne fan since when it came out. This is the coolest video game stuff I've ever seen!
I really want to see Sam Lake's Max Payne HD photographs. I really want to see them :D

We need 1 & 2 REMAKE NAAOOOOWWWW!!!!!

I have loved remedy for 20 years. This blew my mind so much
I'd love to take a look at Sam's journal on 1:58, there is so much one could learn from it!
If I was a millionaire I would pay a lot of money only to see all the Max Payne stuff.
I'm weirdly curious about the graphic novel photos. I'd love to see all of them!
@@yuria_nihilisten Imagine if they still had the beta version of the game...
@@PieroMinayaRojas Honestly, it would be amazing to see just about anything from "behind the scenes". We need to raid that warehouse, haha!

The almost 6-minutes long definition of "passionate". This is beautiful.
Barry Wheeler's jacket can be spied at 5:32. =)
Man, I wish Alan Wake 2 is their next game. The first one is probably my all time favourite game.
Amen.
You can see the jacket at 0:35 :)
you're in luck, guess what
This game was amazing!!!!! We need remakes for 1&2!!
This is so cool, I'd love to skim through all those images, scripts and memorabilia.
Alan Wake 2 is almost here this was awesome to watch in 2023
These Remedy videos rock. I hope the is more.
Wait?! Nicole Horne Aka The main villain of the first Max Payne game is actually Sam Lake mother?!! This is mindblowing🤯🤯
Yeah, and Alfred Woden was his real life dad, Markku Järvi (Sam Lake's real name is Sami Järvi) 😁
@@Xalmuster Thank you for the info man😁

Max Payne had a lot of work done on
Xbox scored its biggest goal by hiring Remedy to make games for them. After Alan Wake I have no doubt this studio is the future of narrative gaming.
Your photo used for hospital ad in max Payne 2, its like: Memorial Hospital
This place is a treasure. How can a gamer not like this?I absolutely loved it.

Wake is returning in 2023 while Payne is returning in 2025 🤧
Top men!
this video was really interesting and it's so nice of them to show you their back room like that.
I am playng control right now and its awesome.
The best of success, Remedy! We love everything you do!!! All of it!!!
_Thank you for watching this video._
All those Kinects just sitting there on the shelf at 0:52 must mean that the developers aren't even attempting to use them :P
an a group of new xbox 360 controllers in the shelf below the PCs

Looks like a Best Buy store shelf. A couple years ago anyway...
jonahstein Nope, still looks like one today :)
Probably waiting to be given away as rewards for something to promote the next games one day.
Forcing the mandatory spy camera, sorry I meant Kinect, upon each and every customer was Microsoft's most stupid idea ever!
I want to see more of those scenery photos. I don't know if some of them were art
great video. i would love to be able to walk around and look at all of remedys history.
Amazing video, I would freaking love the Alan Wake jacket
Speaking of Alan Wake 2, PLEASE MAKE IT! THANK YOU!
He was one of the doctors on the Interfectum ad in the prologue of part I
this is really interesting, i wonder what the max payne demo video looks like
I think I would break down and cry if I got to touch Alan Wake's jacket elbow patches
I want that jacket !!!!!
interesting that every photo of Max Payne 1 is a photo of Sam and Max
One Sneak Peak in my studio of creation
5 hours in control, unbelievable game, Keep doing what you doing remdey :D don't let none sensical SAS. battle royal, online trash mentality pollute your creative sprit
Sam was quoting Ungaretti on his journal? That's interesting, totally unexpected but definetely interesting! :)
Wish Remedy would regain Max Payne IP.

5:17 spotted a lonley Halo: Contact Harvest book, wonder how it ended up there along all the other stuff that Remedy has archived over the years.

Max Payne 3 wasn't made by Remedy, it's by Rockstar North (The maker of GTA I-V).
I wouldn't call it a good game either, so many problems with it outside of it being a MP game.
i think im going to cry xx
I hope the time will be right in the at least the next 5 years.
Nicole Horne was so beautiful in those photos, really! 😍😘🌹
This is fucking amazing!!!
Wheres the flesh of fallen angels?
In your ass!
Very cool!
They had there Max Payne copies in storage? I saw Polish ones (small PL badge and prize of 99,-), ... Jesus...
What’s in the box man!!!!
They really need to make a new PC port of MP1, the engine has problems now particularly with the sound and frames per second on current PC's and OS's.
Vinni Gognitti in this video :)
Nope! That’s a different guy. This guy does appear in some background stuff in some of their games, at least as far as I remember.
Who’s here after listening to the newest MinnMax podcast today?
WHAT'S IN THE BOX?!
nice !!

Who was responsible for the terrible level design of the "Nightmare level" where Max has to walk on a blood line path while a baby cries😣😣

Alan Wake for PS4... please?
