Seems like an okay knife. Has 8cr13mov steel which I don’t like very much. Would much rather see 154cm. Assisted opening, which Kershaw does fairly well. Not the best knife, but not terrible either. If your looking for something more durable that stays sharp longer, you can go with a Kershaw launch 11. Automatic action with a CPM 154 blade that will stay sharp longer then that one. Cool knife though.
Should try out the Civivi Elementum, probably close to the same size and also better steel option. I personally have the mini and use it for work, knew a friend that had the damascus version and the action was pretty good.
@@Ragnarok20770 I was thinking more budget friendly because he's got a pretty inexpensive blade there. My most recent purchase I believe was the Miguron Mero, pretty nice, although I've heard the Atom is definitely a slicer in geometry.

Well, we can see that English isn’t really your strong suit but aside from that in my opinion, Kershaw makes some of the very best edc knives. It’s nice to have bench made , and other knives that are upwards of $100 but if it’s something I’m gonna carry around every day I’d prefer it to be a solid knife for under $50 and Kershaw is one of the best companies for knives in that price range

Anyone who thinks a tiny folder is the best EDC knife - has never carried a large fixed blade. Proof- folder holders carry more than one folder, carry an MT, and carry a prybar. A person who carries a large fixed blade just carries that. Because a large fixed blade can do it all. Trust me. I’ve been on both sides of this.
Yes but sometimes you don’t want a big knife to carry on. For example I’m on a budget so I got a CJRB fieldspar knife and I carry it everywhere, I’ve had it for 2 years now and it’s great!

Might as well get something in s110v or even s90v. But it 8cr because it's a 30$ knife not a 100$ knife.
@@brandens7615 you can get D2 for around that price which I believe is exponentially better then 8cr with regards to edge holding capabilities.

@unholyabyss yeah it really is. If we are going down that vein, the Kizer Mini Roach is one of the slicyest (sry for the bad spelling) blades I own

Same. I broke the blade (my fault), and they replaced the blade for around 10 bucks.
Kershaw is extremely "budget" friendly for EDCs. If you want a good EDC Kershaw blade try the Heist, Leek, or Iridium.

We have pry bars bc they are thick and meant for prying. No knife tip is really meant for prying and will snap off if you use it as a serious pry bar.
