Reflective Foil Insulation Installation Instructions : Metal Roof

RESIDENTIAL METAL ROOF
To ensure good coverage, roll out your Reflective Foil Insulation starting from the top ridge, rolling down to the gutter, over the roof battens.
The green outer anti-glare surface should be facing upwards.
For maximum performance, ensure you have a 50 millimetre overlap into the gutter and that a nominal 40 millimetre sag between your battens is achieved
If required, staple or tape the Reflective Foil Insulation to your battens to hold it in place until the roof sheeting is fixed.
Fix the metal roof sheeting onto your battens as required
In laying additional rolls, allow a 150 millimetre overlap at the Reflective Foil Insulation joins
Alternatively, a smaller overlap of 50 millimetres can be used if you tape your joins
End joins should be overlapped by 600 millimetres if not taped
