I have the 7’-4” heavy regular action poison adrena rod. It’s rated up to 2oz baits. To me it feels very similar to a MagBass rod from GLoomis. MagBass rods are very universal rods and handle multiple types of baits very well. It won’t be the best bottom contact rod because you have to have an extra fast rod to get that NRX sensitivity, but it’s still sensitive enough. I like to use mine for spinner baits, swimbaits, heavy Texas rigs, heavy chatterbaits, spoons, swim jigs and basically any reaction bait that has some weight to it. The tip is like a moderate fast and then the rest is all backbone. I’d like to see a baitfinesse poison adrena in the new line up
looks like the comments section is split into 2 sides, i think i do like the new style with the little orange and white lining to make it more defined rather than just all black again. The end butt section looks good redesigned. Will be looking into these rods for sure
I like the new look brings back some of the older jackall looks, I have the 72M and 72H i don’t believe is more sensitive ! To be honest if the rod blank don’t go all the way to the end section of the rod Is not going to be any more sensitive!
I think the orange is super sick and a refreshing change from Shimano. Looking at these rod models especially for spinning on top of them being 2 pc I would be surprised if these will be released in the US. Looks to me like a jdm upgrade
I’m all about shimano reels but I’m always trigger shy on their rods. Warranty always sucks. Which makes no sense to me because they own gloomis. Had to many broken megabass rods and how they broke made no sense. Keep up the good work
@@THEREELTEST gloomis has a lifetime and dobyns has a low amount no questions asked replacement. You should checkout the dobyns BFS rods. Not the top of the line but still a good rod.
Two of my poison adrena broke after the warranty expired , one casting one spinning. I have to pay half of the retail to get a replacement . The spinning rod broke when I was trying to land a 12inch crappie. 😤
I appreciate you adding a quote from the Holy Book on every one of your videos. If I was to start making videos again, I would love to do it just like you are. GOD bless and protect you and keep you safe 🙏🏻🇺🇸 Tight lines 🎣 my friend 😎🍻
Being a owner of Nrx+ rods, this rod would never make it to my bottom contact lineup. I do have the ‘18 7’3mh model & it’s a great spinnerbait/chatterbait rod. I did use it in a tourney once in a pinch & sensitivity didn’t disappoint
I have a couple of the second generation PA’s and they are my favorite rods, both paired with Metanium and I plan on my next rod being a 3rd gen spinning rod and I will probably have a Vanford on that since a Stella is out of my budget range. I’m not sure if I should try a Sustain instead of the Vanford , I’m willing to accept advice on a Shimano spinning reel 👊👍
Glorious has better/higher end carbon in the blank so in theory should be lighter and more sensitive. Also glorious have hi power x. @ Tim’s more like imx vs glx
I don't really like the look of its butt that much. It would be great to have the Ultima or Glorious butt on it. Anyhow, I just ordered mine and probably arriving soon @ 166M-2
I'm excited but gonna pass, it looks the same but I'm sure it will feel different. If you're new to it go ahead and get it, new tech is always better. I own both expride and adrena and they are stiffer rods being only medium. For me they are more rod sensitive than tip sensitive but very versitile at throwing anything.
Honestly disappointed about the spinning rod handles. Like if they made the handle like the new Intenzas or Exprides and what not then I would buy almost the entire line of spinning rod models lol

Kinda like the looks of the 2nd gen better. I might try a few out if they come up with one that interest me. I have a lot of the 2nd gen already.
Adrena '18 was beautiful in every way, but in the new one only the case is beautiful.

Dont most rods of all brands come with 1 year warranties?
G loomis lifetime warranty

the bugs are gonna love their new home in that butt handle lol
Summa those rods have great lines in the hr design.

my 1st gen NRX is still my favorite bottom contact rod
Bummer. They didn’t update the spinning rod handle.
I bought both mine used, 200$ or so in mint condition. I dont use em often 😂, too damn pretty

I hear the Vanquish is amazing
@@THEREELTEST Thank you 🙏
Vanquish !!!
When is this rod coming out?
End of the year
Is it also for bfs?
It is. Shimano released two bfs baitcasting version. I just have my for a few days
What is the benefit or difference between the glorious and the Adrena?
Difference between a nrx and nrx+

😂 never fails Shimano has changed the game again and everyone else will be playing catch up the next 6 years agein
I stick to Megabass and Daiwa.
Do you watch that guy from Japan has the pink hair his last name HATA I think what’s the name of them rods they look different

Black and silver was more beautiful. The orange is difficult to combine
Spinning rods reel seat is on the wrong side. Lame.

You mean cork?
@@tims_always_fishing7117 no, I meant the handle design on the new adrenas
Очень похож на zodias 😊
That end section can rest against the forearm for some techniques.
Maybe get some of that bell sensitivity
But man That orange is 🤮
the jdm daiwa steez rods are a lot better
Have you fished a PA 24 yet?
according to whom? Why compare with a rod line that costs much more?
