yes indeed...don't get me wrong, the fireworks in other cities were very spectacular and beautiful, but something missing...yes that's it...a blooming great big clock, a time keeper which is fundamentally important when you think celebrating the New Year is counting time, going from one year to the next...symbolism and all that....

London's fireworks are always the best, they choose the best place for fireworks, they're very detailed on the fireworks and they choose music which actually suits the rhythm of the firework. Proud to live in London

i went to watch the fireworks in person in 2013 i think it was, and ngl, it was awful. i think it was because i was viewing from the side bridge but you just couldn’t see anything and obviously you couldn’t hear the music because there was too many people around x

London is not a nice place.... it comes off that it is but honestly even people who live in the UK don't go to London as much, i for one have been more than a few.
Callum Appleton I live in the UK and I love London! I pretty regularly go there to do with work, but I try to make some time to explore the city too :) there's so much to see there!
I also live in the UK and love London! I went to see the fireworks last night (a spontaneous decision that meant driving 120+ miles!) and it was such a good happy atmosphere with people there from all over the world there enjoying it!
Oh Callum, i think it's safe to say you don't speak for anyone in the UK. I'm sure there are some that dislike London but that goes for anywhere in the world. Every city has it's bad sides but as someone that lives in the north west of England i can say London is place that can offer visitors whatever they want, from the educational to quality nights out and everything in between.
The Undertaker don't forget to buy the fcking tickets to this attraction.. it was sold out in october so you have to plan early..

I have to sat this is the best year in my opinion for choice of music as well as the fireworks themselves, yes all the preceeding years are really good but this is my favourite out of all the years I've been watching the London fireworks so far.

These are the most wonderful fireworks. I`ve had the pleasure of being there 6 times on New Year´s Eve and it`s an unforgettable experience indeed.
Went to this display. Absolutely fantastic, beautiful, loud, but beautiful... The fireworks went on for ages, I was so amazed...

That was an impressive display, and while i never went out last night like normal, i stayed at home with my dog and by 10pm the polish folk in our town set off lots of fireworks, and then at midnight there was even more fireworks as the british celebrated the new year, i stood on the green outside my house watching the fireworks going off in all directions, and hugging neighbours who i know well and those i dont know so well, we all came together momentarily, and for me it was the best way to see in 2017.

The best new year show (fireworks,songs) London-2011...
London's fireworks are always so much better than Sydney's fireworks. They treat it like a review, paying tribute to people that past, and the voice over talking about some of the great highlights of the year, like the Olympics. Also it has music that most people would know and can get into.
the sound track to Sydney's fireworks was all instrumental and new composed, but is cool but hard to relate to if every is listening to it for the first time...
It was all instrumental? Actually it's not, They just use different soundtracks for youtube video due to copyright law
