Rest In Peace. I never really watched his content but seeing this breaks my heart. He seems like such a light hearted happy guy. Full of life and laughter. I have heard of him just from being in the community. There will not be a day that goes by that the community as a whole will not think about Reckful and remember the good times and moments he shared with the community. RIP.
@@Anomalous-One Yes he was, depression comes in waves. A few months you could be on top of the world and the happiest guy around. But when your depression comes back it takes over your mind and turns your thoughts against you.
Vexz Byron was never really happy, he'd have to be watched by multiple people to make sure he didn't lose the plot and do anything bad. In moments where people would see a spark of joy, he'd talk about his depression. Most of his friends have mentioned that he was never genuinely happy with where he was. He was not happy.

Sweet Brazy N yeah but I’m not sure ‘everybody’ knew to the extent that he was out of it, including Felix. He’s quite clueless at some things or at least acts like it so I wouldn’t be surprised if he didn’t know
"The sad thing is for this idea to be implemented, somebody's going to have to die". Hearing that hits different after what happened... Even though he had a lot of issues in his life that contributed to his mental health; streaming definitely had an effect due to the type of lifestyle it requires to succeed (secluding yourself for long periods of time / absorbing negativity daily etc. Very sad how things turned out, he will always hold a special place in my heart. RIP Byron
I remember the time when Reckful had mental breakdowns during his talks with Greek on stream whilst Dimitri watched some satisfying videos on yt. They'd talk about everything but you could clearly tell that Byron was seeking these talks and was constantly having manic episodes, one time even threatening the viewers and saying that he could hire a hitman and kill their entire families. He really needed help at that time, and I'm sure his friends & streamers reached out and helped him as it was a big deal on livestreamfails, even months later. But I can't help but feel really bad about my personal behavior at that time. I'd make fun of his breakdowns on Reddit and Twitch streams, call him a psyscho, or a maniac that should be banned off of Twitch (monkaS'ing when Reckful appeared on stream was a thing if my memory serves me right) and it's cause I didn't really understand mental illness at that time, especially how bipolar disorder works. Even on his own reddit - /r/Reckful, people (including me) would grow antagonistic against him to the point of him having to stop reading/checking that subreddit at all. That definitely had a big impact on Byron, as he'd talk about how much he dislikes that subreddit all the time (and livestreamfails IIRC). And he didn't deserve any of that of that negativity, he was born with this unfortunate disorder, his whole family tree had it. I really do regret being one of those people for a relatively brief moment in time. He provided so much joy and happiness to me and thousands of other people with his streams, especially Japan and Spain ones. I was really toxic, I hope he didn't read any of my comments, but I've grown since then and I'm constantly striving to be a better human being. Hopefully he's in a better place. We miss you, Byron, thank you for everything and sorry for all the trouble.
@@Trancer006 probably not since they were on Greek's alt account that he used to stream on if I remember correctly, and since they were lazy-no effort depressed streams he didn't keep any vods and disabled clips. Like I said, Greek was doing basically nothing for days on end, just watching some cooking/relaxing videos and talking with Reckful. I'm going to make a wild guess and say that it was also around the time Reckful had a fight with Becca on stream, and the vod for that should be up, because Byron saved all the vods and didn't take that one down. I'm sure the mods didn't touch them. Also, I just did a quick google search and you can easily find those clips of Byron threating viewers whilst having a manic episode, and the Becca stuff too. I was an active viewer around that time so I caught it live, but the clips are still there if you wanna check 'em out. Granted, they're probably the worst memories of Byron that we have, but I feel like it's also important to acknowledge and understand mental illnesses like the bipolar disorder that Byron had.

To be fair, you're not awkward for that. She's salty and has issues. You asking is more normal than her being offended.
