there wasn't much of a line, xqc was x in and out of character, he let his competitive side get the better of him and did get toxic ooc at times. Summit did the same shit. Once you actually play the other side everything changes. like moonmoon, 2.0 his crim was probably the best/most interesting criminal in the city. in 3.0 he wanted to be a cop and has said cop rp is the most emerisive form of rp on the server compared to crims.
I think people also needs to draw a line between criticism and actual hate. Like some people automatically assume you hate someone if you criticize them.

We didn't agree with anything they did and we all got mad when they arrested xqc. Everyone in chat hated "cop rp watchers" and anything to do with it. But now everyone loves Angel and cop RP. I also find it hilarious how everyone laughed when the cops abused some of their power and did some weird RP when xqc was a cop, but when they did the exact same things to him everyone was mad and saying that the cops were powergaming or sniping. It's amazing how fast chat switches sides once they actually see it from a difference perspective.
And most of chat isn’t there to watch people being nice to each other too, they’re there for content. What kylie did before was wrong and it killed good rp but their new interactions are great imo.
Not trying to sound negative or make a big deal out of this but it's easy to feel good when you have all the power and bad when you're locked in a cage. It's not really about a perspective more like environment.
It's awesome to see them get along and both seem to really be having fun, I also think it's really good for xqc to see what it's like from the cops point of view, all of them should experience both sides so they can learn to understand the different perspectives. I really hope xqc manages to stick to the rules so he doesn't get banned again, he clearly loves being there and while I'm not personally a fan I still think he is a fun addition when it's like this.
