i was at this show, and while I understand you guys on youtube wanting the crowd to shut up, being there and singing along surrounded by a bunch of other people who are also singing along creates a pretty amazing experience. When you're there you can actually here the band just fine, this video doesn't imitate the acoustics of the venue.
what I wouldn't give to be at an AJJ show like this, I got to see them on a stage at a regular venue but I'd love even more to see them perform in a broom closet like this
I was looking up how to play "Lucky Strike" and came across this video. I was at this show. The Echo Curio was an art gallery. There was a little post-modern art piece of an antique T.V. that had Boo from Super Mario Bros. painted in silhouette so that when the T.V. was on static it Glowed through. AJJ was so awesome they killed it. They did Little Prince with the sickest drummer ever. They also did a cover of "Breaking the Law." I remember Ben and Shawn chugging 40's during the show. The Echo Curio closed down in 2011. I went to the last show that the Echo Curio. I went out to see Summer Vacation and Tiny Lungs. The crowd for the Summer Vacation performance was not nearly as pumped as the AJJ crowd. I remember coming home with a hoarse voice from screaming so loud. Hahaha I also remember buying apples because no remembered to bring a pipe, then we traded some dudes our apples for half of a Little Ceasers pizza. Unforgettable. One of the most memorable events of high school. I'm going to miss the Echo Curio when I get older....
the thing about this video i love is how the fans scream along with him. it makes me so happy how personal these guys are and how they r so loved by the fans every where, i wish i could see em!
@TheBeardedJeffersons I understand that but the audience is practically screaming the words at him. I`ve been to a few local folk punk shows and it`s all good and fun singing along but personally I prefer the singer of the band to be dominant.
"let's go to an AJJ show and sit down and not say a word until they're done performing" -said no one ever
Props to the one guy that sang the trumpet part at the end. What a champ.
I love that guy who tries to sing that trumpet part at the end.
right?!
♡
he was so into the song
I find the crowd singing beautiful, its not often you share a moment with a crowd of people like that.
If you've ever been to a show like this, you'd understand that the sing alongs are part of the fun.

Exactly. I personally hate listening to live performances
hearing a crowd sing along in unison is one of the best things to hear

The look he gives him at around 2:10 is confimation of how much fun they were having playing that show. Really dig that.
i love them so much

I love the sense of urgency in Sean's voice when he sings "be the best fucking human you can be!"
yeah i'm loving this video. makes me want to see them live even more than i already did.
thats the point to go to the show its alot of fun and sounds great
Such a great band to see live. I recommend to ALL OF YOU to go and see them if you get the chance
Bro. Your channel is nuts. ❤.
thanks
@joethehobo2006 I think the crowd participation added to the emotional quality of the song in a good way.
@HumansAreAnimals Seriously. Going to these shows are amazing, nothing like singing your heart out with 30 strangers!
❤
@joethehobo2006 i dont mind everyone singing, it makes me envious of them being there and sing along
@joethehobo2006 I don't usually like live performances by other artists, but live seems to make them all that much better
@joethehobo2006 I just saw them last night and it wouldn't be the same without the audience participation, their shows almost demand it.
This is fucking amazing!
I have got... lots and lots of problems.
Seems like this band has fans just as dedicated as Snowing's fans.
please

@joethehobo2006 the crowd was the best part
it's awkward when people are close to them and are not singing
please
