Thankyou for this video.. my son has blown his speakers twice now and i will not pay for anymore stereo work.. With this video I installed new rear speakers in a little more than an hour ,saving alot of money . Without having to go too pro installer It was not too hard and im very greatful for the savings. Thankyou for taking the time and effort to do this. I hope you do one for the front speakers.
This door is exactly like my 2000 ls1. Maybe someone here can help me when you take yours off. I took mine off to look at my speakers and noticed a connector with a orange and green wire on it that didnt go to anything. But everything works on my door, except for the speaker of coarse. Does anyone know what that connector goes to? Rear drivers door.

funny thing about this video the rear door panels dont have speakers they are mounted behind the seats so i have no clue what this car is.
I have a 2000 Saturn LW1 wagon, then I need to replace the speakers at the front door too

Wired in parallel, there is a cap built into the tweets.
Is there a "crossover" for the stock components, or are the woofer and tweet just wired in parallel?
