Bison's backthrow is the single best throw in any street fighter game. Although it has never looked better than it did in SFEX, I'm happy he has it back in SF6.
The finish animation of Bison's (Lv.3) Knee Press Nightmare was also first presented on Street Fighter EX. I got a little surprised this reference was not pointed out in the video. I would wish some of Blanka's supers from EX could be re-used in other games too, but they was just ignored. 😩 Only Dhalsim's Yoga Legend was re-used from EX to SVC Chaos.
It's actually the CvS _1_ run. Capcom created run animations for all the characters in CvS but did not implement them in the arcade version. That taunt is not only changed if you don't have the bomb on them, but it actively resets the bomb's timer so that it detonates in sync with Bison's countdown.
Dunno how i missed this. I just tested it out, and its such a sick feature design of this character. It made me relook at his other taunts. I knew his back+taunt could hit someone, but i didn’t know it was activated based on proximity to the opponent. If you are too far away he holds his fist in position until they walk close enough to get punched. And its unblockable.
It feels like the SF6 devs are trying to make the best versions of every character by bringing back some of their most iconic moves from previous games with some new moves that enhance their movesets. And I think they're succeeding in that aspect.

I love how Bison plays the old-fashion way: pokes, combos, and good ol hands-on fighting. Maybe is the grappler in me, since we have to rely on that plus being savvy. But Bison in SF6 is very reminiscent of his old ways.
And the cool part is that this can still work with the current story, in the sense that he forgot his flashier and more unique SF5 moveset and his memory only reaches his core moveset (with bits from SF4 like the two ultras).
Blah, blah, blah fuck that poking shit footsies shit ...mf is boring he don't even have his teleport moves no more this a fuckin street fighter 2 bison all over again tf...the best version of bison is his alpha series days alone with the cape on 😎 ...

To me it looks very much like hes just going through the motions of what his muscle memory says. Like he doesnt know what hes doing but his body tells him how to do it. Its honestly perfect with him being an amnesiac now.
Bison has 2 secret taunts: the first one is where you press forward taunt during a psycho mine plant and you’re capable of extending the timer on it past its normal duration. The 2nd is his back taunt if someone gets close to him he throws an unblockable that knocks down but does no damage. This attack can’t hit armor but registers as a hit so it triggers counters like scutum.
Extremely skilled 3d artists. Same thing about the Bandai Namco devs who converted Akuma and Geese to Tekken and Haohmaru to Soul Calibur. But in comparison, the 3d skills in SNK are still tiers below Capcom and Bamco and it must not be counted in that elite status, despite its solid legacy. Hopefully there are good improvements on SNK's 3d skills in the near future, because all those franchises deserve much better.
Bison's finger countdown taunt before the bomb explodes feels like straight out of a Fist of the North Star scene which makes sense considering him being on horseback in this game is a pretty direct reference to Raoh riding around on a giant horse in the anime.
Even though I find it weird they decided to bring Bison back as a DLC. I can't fathom over the fact that they bring back his original fighting stance, and how he looks in SF6 is so damn cool.
