still was a beautiful goal and pens 2nd time getting a back to back for their franchise was a moment to remember sadly may be the last of the Crosby era lol
My number one takeaway from this video is just how much I miss Doc Emrick and Gary Thorne. Announcers on another level. Their voices made every single play better.
When your team (nashville) is more known for being scored on by Datsyuk 😖 forreal though thanks for the video! Man I forgot about a lot of these and how electrifying they were at the time. I still get goosebumps watching these again.
REALLY well done on this compilation! As a relative novice to hockey myself (Kraken fan), this feels like an EXCELLENT primer on the history of the NHL, both in terms of playoffs and the league as a whole. Thanks so much for doing this! You should be proud! :)
7:30 *I was the only one awake watching the game, and when Martinez scored, I started screaming so loud I woke everyone in the house up!* 😆 lol #GoKingsGo
I've haven't really watched hockey in over a decade but have been watching videos of when I was a kid in the 80's and early 90's and get sentimental quite a bit. A great video! Thank you!
I'm glad that Pens won the series and the Cup. But every year teams get disappointed once they lose. You can see from the Senators players the true emptiness when they realize they have lost. They did great that year and things like that aren't remembered. They had like some not that great years before and after the 2016-2017 season. It was the peak of their performance in a short timeline. Great hockey by the team didn't pay off. And in all frustration, next year had to be started from the start. Hockey and sports are tough. But there is nothing better than Penguins winning the Stanley Cup.
Yeah I’ll never forget that either…but for the worst reason. God I hate seeing that goal, it really hurts. Sent my team into a pit of agony to say the least.
seeing the players on the bench stand up along with the fans when something special is about to happen gets me every time. It’s all your boys rootin for you to finish
Yzerman's goal is among the best playoff goals. While it may no the the best goal, the rink end, pull back on the zoom following the puck all the way into the top corner has to be the best hockey camera work of all time.
You will never see a better wrist shot then Joe’s shot in game seven of the Stanley Cup finals 2001. Brodeur did not even react to it until like six years later.
Was at game 7 in 2013 TOR vs BOS. Bruins coming back from down 4-1 to win 5-4 in OT was amazing. The Boston Garden was absolutely nuts, so loud and just vibrating with energy.
One other goal that I remember was Game 7, Flames vs Canucks, 2004. Flames winning by one goal, less than a minute to go. Hansen carries the puck in on a rush in the last ten seconds, feeds it to Matt Cook who scored to tie the game for the Canucks!
How are there not any highlights of Bobby Orr, Wayne Gretzky or Marilou Lemexiew in this video? The three best players in history. Gordie Howe too. Best guys ever.
Great compilation with awesome editing & timing.. but one of these days I wish I'd watch a video that had context behind the goals. I don't know who's ahead in the series or what in some of these. Minor complaint & may be asking too much, but yeah
🤑🤑🤑🤑🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩Alec Martinez scored the game winning goal in OT on game 7 at Chicago! He also scored game goal in 2OT against the Rangers at Los Angeles. Kings won their 2nd Stanley Cup championship in 2014.
No that was an embarrassment for the Lightning I honestly think that’s one of the most embarrassing series for the Lightning after the insane regular season they had the Jackets beat them hands down
Connor Mcdavid and the Oilers will have a chance to be featured when some slick goals have been scored. 2024 will be an awesome finals between the Panthers.
Woah. I’ve never seen such a bias against the sharks.. it has to be intentional to not include a SINGLE goal, from their 11 years in a row in the playoffs, in a 40 minute video
What goals from their 11 year run should I include? And why are you saying I’m bias when there are Sharks clips from other years, you seem infatuated with this run.
That MacKinnon goal against the blues last year in game five still makes me so mad and I’m an avs fan. The reason that it makes me so mad is that the idiot goaltender for the avalanche gave up a soft rebound after that, and had that been a goal that sent the Avs to the conference finals after three consecutive years of losing in the second round that would have been one of the top five goals of all time.
The Dubois goal in game 3 of the Leafs Jackets series was fucked up because the Leafs had a 3-0 lead until the Jackets cane back and ruined it for us. The Blue Jackets should be ashamed of themselves for making us blow that 3-0 lead
I'll make a part 2 for this soon! There's so many amazing playoff goals, so if I missed any please let me know!
Gotta get the Sharks Game 7 OT goal against Vegas in 2019 in part 2 for sure!
Some ideas
-McDavids series winner against Calgary.
-Lekhonen’s series winner against Vegas.
-San Jose’s comeback win Vs Vegas.
-McDavids game 7 goal vs L.A.
-Sundin’s game 7 tying goal with 20 seconds left in 2002.
Ohhhh my bad
Also Nick Suzuki had a really cool drag goal against Winnipeg in game 1 2021.
carolina hurricanes shock at the rock against the new jersey devils in 2009!!
The NHL Playoffs are truly electrifying and absolutely crazy. I love the home goals because of the reactions
Some of these overtime goals give me chills. Absolutely electrifying
Yup, nothing like playoff hockey
Especially if it’s a game 7 or goal.
The Kunitz goal to end the Senators cinderella run still hurts me to watch. Still the saddest I've felt watching another team get eliminated.
Sens fan here. What are you talking about? That never happened...
still was a beautiful goal and pens 2nd time getting a back to back for their franchise was a moment to remember sadly may be the last of the Crosby era lol
Yzerman goal after Gretzky turnover in second OT game winner was just MMMmmperfect
My number one takeaway from this video is just how much I miss Doc Emrick and Gary Thorne. Announcers on another level. Their voices made every single play better.
that’s how RJ was
When your team (nashville) is more known for being scored on by Datsyuk 😖 forreal though thanks for the video! Man I forgot about a lot of these and how electrifying they were at the time. I still get goosebumps watching these again.
I'm getting chills over a compilation, like it some of these happened just last night.
REALLY well done on this compilation! As a relative novice to hockey myself (Kraken fan), this feels like an EXCELLENT primer on the history of the NHL, both in terms of playoffs and the league as a whole. Thanks so much for doing this! You should be proud! :)
Paul Kariya's goal will always give me chills holy
7:30 *I was the only one awake watching the game, and when Martinez scored, I started screaming so loud I woke everyone in the house up!* 😆 lol #GoKingsGo
It’s incredible that you found really old playoff goals that are in black and white
This dude will find everything... Including father, who went for milk.
@Delta Highlights I love your content!
The Karyia goal still gives me chills to this day that call is iconic.
This video and hopefully more to come are a gift from the gods. There’s nothing like the Stanley cup playoffs. I could watch this all day.
I've haven't really watched hockey in over a decade but have been watching videos of when I was a kid in the 80's and early 90's and get sentimental quite a bit. A great video! Thank you!
I'll never forget seeing Kunitz send us to the cup, one of my favorite games I've ever been to

Fun to see that there is quite many goals I didn't know were in playoffs
I've seen that Yzerman goal 100's of times and to this day cant figure out how he puf that puck where he put it. Accuracy times a TRILLION
Love the older clips. Great video. Thank you
0:46. Gary Thorne with one of the greatest calls in NHL broadcasting history: "Steve Yzerman! Detroit wins!"
seeing the players on the bench stand up along with the fans when something special is about to happen gets me every time. It’s all your boys rootin for you to finish
I will never forget the McCarthy goal. But there are so many great goals here
I respect how you didn’t just choose the fanciest goals. You did some that were iconic or just straight up clutch as well.
Great compilation, Delta
I'll never forget @10:50
Lots of memories in there! Good goose bumps 😊
Yzerman's goal is among the best playoff goals. While it may no the the best goal, the rink end, pull back on the zoom following the puck all the way into the top corner has to be the best hockey camera work of all time.
Take me back to the glory days. Go wings!
Awesome content as always keep it up!
Thank you Ismail!
I remember watching that second MacKinnon goal live. I screamed so loud and had goosebumps. It was electric
anyone else going to miss Mike "Doc" Emeric come playoff time? God he was so good. I miss Gary Thorne also. He was great also.
Their voices made the games more exhilarating
You will never see a better wrist shot then Joe’s shot in game seven of the Stanley Cup finals 2001. Brodeur did not even react to it until like six years later.
Haha
Started off with a banger
ahh yes, my favorite dedicated youtube channel
this is beautiful
Out of all of these goals, the last one gave me the chills ✨
Alex Burrows slays the dragon the best moment of all time.
That Malkin backhander is still one of my favorites
Hextall scoring a playoff goal is pretty cool
He had like 3 or 4 goals by the end of his career. Insane
He sure loved playing that puck up the ice!
Excellent video! Great job!
I can't believe it's been thirty freaking years since the Blackhawks and Penguins played for the Cup.🤯
Just wanted to say I love your content, also, what's your favorite team?
Thank you Carson and my favourite team is the Canucks!
Was at game 7 in 2013 TOR vs BOS. Bruins coming back from down 4-1 to win 5-4 in OT was amazing. The Boston Garden was absolutely nuts, so loud and just vibrating with energy.
Yzermans blue line double OT, Kariya off the floor on the board, & Sakics slap fake are my 3 favorites of all time
One other goal that I remember was Game 7, Flames vs Canucks, 2004.
Flames winning by one goal, less than a minute to go. Hansen carries the puck in on a rush in the last ten seconds, feeds it to Matt Cook who scored to tie the game for the Canucks!
Nice vid bro your content is perfekt
Gary Thorne is the voice of playoff hockey.
He’s great, including others such as Doc Emrick, Rick Jeanneret, etc.
How are there not any highlights of Bobby Orr, Wayne Gretzky or Marilou Lemexiew in this video? The three best players in history. Gordie Howe too. Best guys ever.
You obviously didn’t watch the video or didn’t pay close enough attention.
@@DeltaHighlights I don't remember seeing any goals by Marilou Lemexiew either...she was a gifted, sexy center.
3:34
@ 9:00 when was this game/series?
love how ovi got the knee goals both against the rangers
King video.
Great compilation with awesome editing & timing.. but one of these days I wish I'd watch a video that had context behind the goals. I don't know who's ahead in the series or what in some of these. Minor complaint & may be asking too much, but yeah
Yeah I agree, I need to learn how to make a graphic of some sort that say.
@DeltaHighlights I liked this video & I'll like that one, too. Thanks for the great vids!
Ice Hockey is the Best Sport in the Planet!
For years I thought Bure’s OT winner against Flames in 1994 was a hat trick goal but it was a call about it being scored in the 3rd OT 😅
This year's playoffs has been one of the best imo look at the god damn semi final for heck sake. Each game has gone into ot
Islanders Game 1 OT goal vs Pittsburgh in 2019, Islanders game 6 overtime goal vs Tampa in 2022
...Dustin Byfuglien's Game 3 OT winner against the Sharks in the 2010 West Final has to be included!... I never see it in these videos!...
That thumbnail gives me Severe PTSD.
In part 2, lets get some Forsberg goals in. He had many amazing playoff goals.
Will do! I plan on making a part 2 soon
the alec martinez goal man
You should do a video of just conner mcdavid goals 😂
For a part two suggestion you missed game 1 of the 1992 Stanley Cup Finals the tie braking goal from Mario Lemieux
That Stevie Y goal is the greatest goal in NHL history
Even tho I’m a Golden Knights fan I do have to admit that u definitely missed the Barclay Goodrow OT goal in that crazy game 7 in San Jose in 2019.
5:36 Even though im not a ducks fan this was still cool
3:33 there should be a rule against kicking the goalie in the nuts while scoring a goal
Me every year as a bruins fan: please play maple leafs in first round please play maple leafs in first round 🤞
i love listening to pat foley
no matter what hoffman did on that breakaway it would have been nasty because of the pass but the fact that he did THAT
The Forsberg move just made it so much better.
Need Drurys late tying goal and afinogenovs ot goal vs the rangers in 2007.
27:23 who said Gretzky couldn't lift the puck?
You need to get the jackets lightning series from 2019. It was a great one
No that was an embarrassment for the Lightning I honestly think that’s one of the most embarrassing series for the Lightning after the insane regular season they had the Jackets beat them hands down
You gonna do a topp 100 goals of 2022-23 season?
Probably not, but i could maybe do something like it
@@DeltaHighlights I think I mean like what you did last year from the 2021-22 season
@@speedwave5029 I believe you have me mistaken with Jesse Funk: th-cam.com/video/BaJ80Cfgmvk/w-d-xo.html

Connor Mcdavid and the Oilers will have a chance to be featured when some slick goals have been scored. 2024 will be an awesome finals between the Panthers.
14:28 - how far we've come. "Scores." *People in suits politely applaud*
This videos sums up that hockey 8s the BEST sport in the world
The Kariya goal is poignant because it raises the hairs on my arm whenever I see the play and hear the call, but Paul can’t even remember it.
7:29 best celly in NHL history
Bro where’s the sharks ot winner over Vegas? Cant miss that one out
I'm kind of a homer for those Wings teams, but I've always loved seeing the McCarty goal

Chris Drury against Ottawa, 2006
Chris drury against the rangers in 07 🤦♂️🤦♀️🤦
Good supercut of Jim Hughson botching calls in big moments
6:00
The best part is Torontos greatest goals all came in black and white footage other than the Doug Gilmour goal 😂😂😂
Martinez's goal against the Rangers made me so sad at the time
Between the quality of broadcast and the quality of goaltending, I don't understand how anyone watched hockey on TV pre-1990ish
Yes, I'm a Sabres fan. However, the "MAY DAY-MAY, MAY-DAY, MAY-DAY" call might be the greatest call in the playoffs of all time.
Great video but not including Anthony beauvillier’s game 6 ot winner vs Tampa is a sin. Last goal scored in the coli
Part 2 for sure
That MacKinnon goal against the blues last year in game five still makes me so mad and I’m an avs fan. WOW. Way back when the goalie never wore a mask or helmet. No wonder the old timers never had front teeth.
