[OLD SCHOOL][HOW TO] CYMA CM.028 Disassembly - Internal Review

Surprise! Here is the fourth Christmas day surprise video as part of our old school xmas 2020 releases. These are all old videos (very old in some cases) which have never been worked into our release schedule! So thought we would be nice and drop them as 12 days of old school pheas xmas playlist! Be gentle with them, they are old!
It took a loooong time to get to be able to disassemble the CM.028 AK47 from cyma so we could do an internal review.
This is going to be a project for us with a bit of a make over, so keep your eyes open for it coming soon!

I was going for a desert tan color but the sight is a different color and it's really large and heavy

Can you do a tutorial on how to top wire a rear wired gun?

Hello! I will, but might take a while as I don't currently have anything to do it with, but... It generally can be done with almost the same wiring, just needs the gearbox lifting a little bit and allowing the wires to come up the left side of the gearbox and into the top cover. I will make a note though, next time I have one in, I will do the video. Pheas

How can you better secure the battery tray to the receiver and also the butt plate to the stock?

Unfortunately there isn't much you can do with either. Some duct tape on the stock plate will work wonders for that, but the battery tray is a poor design you cant do much about. Pheas

what do i do if my fire selector is loose on the cyma o28 u?

Hiya, if you access the screw that holds it on to the body you should be able to tighten it down to stop that. Pheas

Hello! This is currently part of a project, so I still have it about, so will get a requested video done for you in next few days! But in the mean time, there is just a philips head screw under the gas rod thing, undo that and the full front sight post comes off (from what I can remember) Pheas

Hello, yep! If you get an Airsoft AK wood kit it is easy to swap it over. With some work and some tools you can modify real AK wood kits to fit. Pheas

By the love of any higher being you believe in DO NOT BUY Cyma 028, the selector will always get loose after few shooting sessions, and recently the cover release of my cyma got stuck after it hit the floor from about 2 feet. Buy anything in the price category of cm 028 but DON'T BUY IT.

Hiya. was it really that bad? I have used mine a little bit with no issues. It did however devour its own piston... partially my fault with the high speed motor and 11.1v I "tested" it with, but other than that, it has been solid! Got a raft of upgrades to go in mine as well! Pheas
