The one and only braking tip you need: Take the brakes off of your bike. Brakes slow you down and ain't nobody got time for that. Grip it and rip it. Braaap.
higher wet boiling point brake fluid makes a huge difference in brake performance, try the ELF brand fluid seem to be the highest boiling point fluid I have found .
Permatex Anti-Seize Lubricant is what we were brushing on the brake pins. You can check it out here: www.rockymountainatvmc.com/parts/permatex-anti-seize-lubricant-p
Hello!!i have an xt660z tenere 2008.. I replace the hall front with wr426f... From 2 300mm disks now i have one 250mm but not for long.. I order biker rotor 320mm and i hope to see some change because now is like have no brake at all..if would not the biker rotor make the job corect what is the next step; diferent calimber;
For DOT 4 brake fluid I use the VXSCAN. 10.00 on Amazon. Checks moisture in DOT 3 and 4 brake fluid. They (DOT 3&4) are alcohol base (attracts water). DOT 5, 5.1, and 5.5 are silicone base. 3&4 handle heat better. I just check my fluid every six months. It literally tells the percentage of water in your fluid. So becomes go/no go fluid. Edit: Stock brake line is cheaper to replace. I make my own steel lines for the hot street bikes, but for dirt?? Waste of money.
There isn't a set service interval for replacing brake lines but they should last for years before having to be replaced. Some things that will cause them to go bad and need replacing would be if they get physically damaged or the rubber getting brittle from sun damage.
I bought one of the attack graphics kit, followed the instructions to the tee, and after 2 washes with the water hose (with garden sprayer tip) made the graphics peel up and trap water behind them. I spray my bike down with water, handwash it then spray it off from a distance. Anything i can do?
I'll bet! that would be a nightmare. For me, money spent on quality levers is definitely worth it. Saves headaches like these from happening. Thanks again for watching!~Chase
I really like you guys videos but one of the main reasons why I don't shop with you is because your site doesn't work the way I wish it would. If I can't search through and filter through products that I'm looking for my for my bike, then it's kind of worthless. I have to manually click on each item to see if it fits my bike, then that's just a waste of time.
Jamison, if you use our "parts finder" on the home page and scroll down, it will show all the parts that will fit your bike, ATV or UTV. Some parts that are universal however, like handlebars, are not machine specific so those will not show up. Hope this helps ~Chase

One time I was in a race and at the beginning of it I had all my brakes, by the end I had no rear and my front was barely working. It was scary

Do you guys have anything that will fit a 1992 husky wxc250?

What size tire is that in the back?
This bike has a 110/100-18 Michelin StarCross 5 rear tire.
How often do you change the brake lines?

Is Tusk a RMATVMC owned brand??

Nice tips!

HybridEdits got to clean plastic with contact cleaner on any plastic. then a little heat with a heat gun for any graphics imo.
peel off the rest of the wrap
I filled my rear break with DOT 5.1 oil, and we went to romania. Still got overheated af.
What brake fluid should I use for my ktm 85 sxs
Phoenix TheGamer clean. it prolly says right on top of res.
You guys need to sell replacement tusk oversized rotors so we don't have to buy the whole kit again.
Thank for that input! We'll look into that.~Chase
Rocky Mountain ATV MC yes!!!!!
Rocky Mountain ATV MC thank you I love the whole setup it's just a waste for me to buy it all again when I only need the rotor.
I think I’m in love with that bike 🤔🤔🤷🏻♂️😍
7:55 i did that with my clutch lever and then i pulled it in and it snapped
Oh dang! that's a bummer. What clutch lever was it? I use that method for my clutch too and it really helps with my clutch pull.~Chase
Rocky Mountain ATV MC 95% sure it was the stock lever or it might of been a cheap one, it was a real pain hahaa
I'll bet! that would be a nightmare. For me, money spent on quality levers is definitely worth it. Saves headaches like these from happening. Thanks again for watching!~Chase
Hey man I’m thinking about changing out the break fluid on my pitbike and don’t know what fluid I need. I have a 2000 XR 80R can you help me?
“Honda”
We looked up that bike and it shows having drum brakes...Did you put on a hydraulic brake system?
XR80 has cable brakes bud.
Stainless steel circles cost too much entirely.
Brakes is The speeds worst enemy
more brake tips as opposed to braking
Nice tips and no shit music well done 🇬🇧👍
Just slap the bank, get some brembos and you’ll be fine 😂
*AkaComeau* Brembo brakes work great and have great components.
Brakes like Ronnie mac says they're there to add weight
Totally agree, brakes are for pussies. I find that ramming other riders off the track generally slows me down enough in the corners.
Can't wait for the Ronnie fad to pass, so tired of his crap talking and then not racing to back it up.
Change the title to brake maintenance

This man looks like Drake with a hairstyle
You mean flushing the brakes. You only need to bleed them if you mess up the flush and introduce air. 🙂
a considerable amount of this is wrong. someone needs to take the tools away from this guy
