my sister got a 5N in Canada, no glass roof here, no digital rearview mirror, but it has HUD and peasants shades on the back, we went on a track the other day, THIS CAR IS AMAZING
The N is a decent track car straight outta factory. Tesla M3P is a very fast streetcar. Faster than the N in most situations Check the Carwow video: The N started off at 97% SOC when the the UK, LG pack Model 3 was at 73% SOC. Even then is the 3 faster off the line, faster to 60 mph and does the 1/4 mile at the same time.
I get a bit confused when i see this car referred to as a hot hatch. The roof height of the car makes it look like a CUV. I haven't seen the N in person, just the regular version.

I really would like to know why some people moan about some stupid power seats. I have it at the moment in a car and it's honestly stupidly annoying if anyone else has used it since they are so slow to move back to my position (same goes for the power tailgates, so sloooooow). WIth a manual seat you spend a second and it's back where you want it. + on the ioniq it's there for a reason, they where able to lower the seating position a lot. same with the sunroof, or even worse those stupid glas roofs, high center of weight with the risk of leaking not to talk about if the glas cracks on it. the price to replace it is just astronimical and real risks of totaling just a a couple of years old car.
Other way around do people want to experience fake sounds? A lot of engineering for a function that doesn't realy matter, it is fake at a high costs. Can I order it at a discount without this sound module?

Too bad the leases on these are dog water. Stupid high for a $68k car. There are some dealerships that are knocking off 2-3k but lease is still absurd.
I'm just counting down the days until I buy one. The thing I want to wait for though is the addition of the Vision roof in the US market. I'd still get it if they decide not to bring it to the US, but hoping they will in next year's model as an option. My only other wish would be to have different ICE sounds outside of a 2.0l 4 cylinder. If it's digital, why not add in a v8, v10, v12? Heck, why not add in a early 2000s era F1 v10? It's not like you'd have to worry about reliability and the stress of actual high revs!
It would be more impressive if the 5N was $20,000 cheaper, had a 0-60 that was below 3s, and range that was 300+ miles to compete with the 2024 Tesla M3P.
Seriously man, "not quite as fast as m3p"? 0-60 2.95vs 3.05 is not something you can feel. And when they were tested side by side, although m3p starts a bit faster off the line 5N catches up and passes m3p easily every time. So no, your "pesky tesla 3" is NOT faster. And 5N is a whole 1000lbs heavier while beating m3p. If you are interested in pure acceleration then a plaid or sapphire is the way to go.
5N is the absolute game changer. no matter what.
Can we add our personal f1 v10 sound? Should I buy this or wait till they add v10 or v12 sound?

hyundai should offer a "hardcore" upgrade package such as porsches "weisach" package, with lightweight carbon panels, ceramic brakes, stripped out interior, roll cage etc.
Hyundai Kia are killing it
Amen to a sunroof in the Ionic 5. Of the three in their family, only the EV6 offers an opening roof, so that's my choice. No problem there, but it seems that Genesis and Hyundai may be missing market... ?
Edit: those simulated shifts and sounds have won me over. I can have a sunroof in my other cars. Bring on the E-HotHatch!
carwow compared the Ioniq5 with the new Tesla model 3 performance, and this won (the ioniq5 was faster)
EU/canada spec gets the glass roof, hud and digital rearview camera. US model got robbed. But I still love it.
my sister got a 5N in Canada, no glass roof here, no digital rearview mirror, but it has HUD and peasants shades on the back, we went on a track the other day, THIS CAR IS AMAZING
@@SpecialKthx aahhh I wonder if it’s EU and Korea. Peasant shades 🤣🤣🤣🤣
If it was ICE i would get one. If only the Veloster wasnt discontinued it could have looked like this.
Nice shirt 👍🏽
Hard to believe how far Hyundai have come since their inception! For the money, though, I’d rather have a GTI with a manual transmission.
What happens if you listen to music, does the reving sound fade away ⁉️
does this have walkaway auto lock?
In Korea Ionic5N there is version with panoramic roof, lots of videos reviews that show it… in Europe don’t have why Hyundai??
I made a comment about this idea some years ago and also about the unibody and frame, and it's now coming to pass 😮
Whats the 1/4 mile?
If the Ioniq5N itself is a Super car killer, then imagine what Hyundai is going to unleash with The Hyundai N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo.
I get a bit confused when i see this car referred to as a hot hatch. The roof height of the car makes it look like a CUV. I haven't seen the N in person, just the regular version.
I5N > M3P
I’d be embarrassed to get caught driving any of the Teslas. No thanks to ugly cars.
Real life video game
N means double corner sign!
I5N is the most advance EV track machine with steel brake.
My bro miles inches what is this the middle ages?! Pls at least add the metric system for international viewers😅 very clear review besides that❤
Cool car but they need to really address the range
No you choose the regular Ionic 5 if you want more range did you not listen
You didn’t buy this for range…🤦
@@naveenthemachineThe Tesla model 3 performance has 303 miles of range. This isnt 2020 anymore. 221 miles is pathetic for any EV. Regardless of purpose.
@@truckercowboyed2638The Tesla model 3 performance costs less, has 303 miles of range and comparable performance.
@@KAYJAYSTUDIOSYTit's a performance EV hatchback and a first generation at that...I mean buy the Tesla then instead of whining about the range being low....
I'd pay double the price of that Tesla POS for this N.
That fake engine noise 😆😂🤣. Good Review
They need a Jetsons sound
Fuckin' awesome.
No red seats or red inside is huge buzz kill ,i was interested.I don't care about engine crap. It's lame to me, engine and speed are a death trap in America. Common sense aint common
Smoke and model 3 performance far far long way check test
Why no panoramic roof in the US. Panoramic roof available in Europe. Holding out until a roof becomes available.
$70K for a compact Hyundai and that's before dealers get ahold of you 😂
Why is this an 2025 Ioniq 5 N? Why not 2024?
Are you serious?? Late models in the year are designated as the next model year so it's a 2025
@@truckercowboyed2638 yes ok. But what's exactly the difference?
The spoiler and rear of this car isn't enough for me. Not aggressive enough. Side and front are good though
3.06 seconds means on a track surface, this is doing 2.9
Motortrend got 2.8
Its funny how Hyundai (yes, Hyundai) Beat DODGE to the Game...😅
The new model 3 is faster 0 to 60 but the Ioniq 5 N still faster
The thought of inexperienced drivers having that power is terrifying, pretty unnecessary.
Get ready for the Kia boys😂😂
Ok. Chinese.
@@kiwan5425 your girlfriend?
I can do without the fake stuff.
I want one but no sunroof and no power seats in 2024 is insane
Lol fk sunroof. 90% of the time people dont even use it
Sunroof??
Why do people cry about something they won't even buy
That would be moon roof
Range: 221 miles is 355 kilometers.
Other way around do people want to experience fake sounds? A lot of engineering for a function that doesn't realy matter, it is fake at a high costs. Can I order it at a discount without this sound module?
Redline dude has been specifically instructed to use his knowledge and online value to over-evaluate this car because we need to get rid of freaking Tesla which people are buying for no logical reasons other than it is introduced by musk. (It doesn’t mean this car is junk)
If Hyundai could legally badge this car "VW" and "GTI", they absolutely would.
BIG quality difference though!
@@Erin-ThorAgreed the Ioniq is way better quality and reliability. The new GTis has all that plastic and unusable infotainment system, and are expensive to maintenance when they get into the higher mileage
@@ayushmalpeddi2793 - Not where I was going, but okay. 👍🏽 🤣 Hyundai reliability is still not what VW’s have, I like to keep a car 1 or 2 hundred thousand miles. Don’t misunderstand me, I like Hyundai a lot, I almost purchased a Palisade more than once.
Impressive but too heavy. Hopefully more reliable, durable than their ICE vehicles...
You can add a sunroof to any car from the dealer and roll it into the financing.
Too bad the leases on these are dog water. Stupid high for a $68k car. There are some dealerships that are knocking off 2-3k but lease is still absurd.
This N5 is king so far.
What is Germanic about this?
There’s no German EV that drives like this.
It's ride, handling, and comfort in normal mode.
Everything is good except for RANGE =(
The only one with a mind bogglingly hotter hatch than the 2025 Hyundai Ioniq5 N is Sofyan!!!
