    When your are comparing the two colors you should have put them nose to nose at same angle so we can see the colors side by side with same lighting. Hard to compare the way you have them sitting.

    They are both nice. IfI had a choice between both, I’d still pick Area 51.

    Azure means blue. More specifically, light blue. The word is most commonly used to refer to the color of the sky, the waters of the Mediterranean, or a mood.

    I have a full size Sasquatch Bronco in Area 51. Love the colour. The other one is not worth the $1000. Ford is asking for it.

    This was very helpful! I have my heart set on the Area 51 outer banks, but have a hold on the Azure color, unseen. I cant locate an Area 51 anywhere. The one i ordered is appearently still somewhere in Michigan. The dealer i am working with now said my bronco would be here a couple of weeks ago and nothing, no answers. It's helpful to at least SEE what color I might be getting some day.
    Thank you for this comparison. I can live with the Azure. But dang that Area 51 is it for me!

    I originally ordered Cactus gray. My 2022 order took so long that my salesman called and told me I would get a 2023 and I could change the color. He said there was a "new" color --- Azure Gray. My bronco finally came in on July 3rd. My heart sunk when I saw it because when I originally ordered the ONLY color I was sure I didn't want was Area 51!!! I feel deceived - it's not really a new color! I bought the car but was so unhappy a week later I decided to sell it. Still waiting for the registration but as soon as I get it I will be selling the car. I am sooo disappointed because I waited almost 2 years! I should have stuck with my original color.

      Sorry to hear that :( I love all the colors offered on Bronco but totally understand why you would be disappointed.

    The metallic in the Azure grey is nice but the actual color of the Area 51 seems nicer.
    Put some metallic in the Area 51 and you have a winner!

    I don’t see the teal in Area 51. I see a grayish blue.

      That’s fair, it’s kind of hard to describe but Area 51 isn’t super teal. I see a slight bit but mainly grayish blue like you see

      It’s a funny color in most pictures I hate it but in person I really like it. I believe in pictures it mostly the lighting that effects it.

    I ordered a 2024 Ranger in Azure Grey. It’s more blue than Area 51 . I’m a blue fan! Lol. Ford don’t offer Area 51 on 24’ Ranger. Put the chrome package on it. Neither of these colors look that good with all that black trim and wheels. But I don’t really like the black appearance on any color but the light gray’s and whites. I’m old school! 🛻👷🏼‍♂️👍🏼

      Nothing wrong with a little chrome! Azure is a gorgeous color, especially when waxed up. That metallic flake really shines through!

    You do know that Azure means Blue?

  • @husch4164

    Azure means the color of the sky, so clearly the name means blue-gray. What's there to be confused about?

      You're right - typically with automotive colors you don't see a color named gray while being mainly blue

  • @romanjamm

    Azure means blue in spanish

    • @c.harperautogroup
      @c.harperautogroup  ปีที่แล้ว

      That's great to know. I'm embarrassed my high school Spanish knowledge didn't remember that.

    • @alexs3187
      @alexs3187 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Incorrect. Blue is azul in Spanish. Azure is an English word. It’s often used to describe the sky (which of course is a shade of blue). In the word Azure, the emphasis should be on the first syllable. But every Bronco video on TH-cam, they emphasize the second syllable, probably just unfamiliar with the word.

    • @Crossfirev
      @Crossfirev ปีที่แล้ว

      @@alexs3187 Nope. Here's the word origin, Originated from Middle English (denoting a blue dye): sourced from Old French asur, azur; then sourced from medieval Latin azzurum, azolum, and lastly sourced from Arabic al ‘the’ + lāzaward (from Persian lāžward ‘lapis lazuli’). So started in Arabic and/or Persian --> Medieval Latin --> Old French --> Middle English --> Modern English :)
      Spanish azul is sourced from medieval Latin's azolum. So they were close but no dice

    • @alexs3187
      @alexs3187 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Crossfirev well pretty much all English words have roots in other languages. I’m not disputing that, I’m simply saying Azure is fairly commonly used to describe sky blue in English. Whereas Azul would not. It’s mentioned in poems and songs.
