So fun to see this trip again. Finally got a chance to meet Jonny who if you are not watching his videos you should be, just great content. So fun to hang out with Daniel and Tish, and Greg as always! Good times!
Thanks bud....This was a fun trip with these guys...It was fun to edit. I'm looking forward to seeing their videos too! Keep an eye out for them....Talk soon.
We must have just missed you when you went to racetrack playa. We were there earlier in the morning and then went over to Ubehebe Lead Mine. But the guys in the Toyotas you saw while airing up were the guys that rolled into Homestake Dry Camp late on Saturday night that we made room for. Nicely built Toyotas. Great video and glad you guys had a good time!
@-11:11 The last time I was thru there we saw a bighorn sheep on that rock to the right staring down at us and of course we left our phones in camp as there is no signal so no pics
Watched both videos. Death Valley is the largest national park outside AK. I've been exploring the park since 2008 and there is much to see. You've only just begun. So much amazing history tucked away all over. The rocks on the playa actually move with frozen sheets of ice which break and move with the crazy winds that occur there. This was only recently, within the past ten years, discovered when scientists were there when it happened. Great solitude for camping all over the park. You were so close to that cabin. Would have been a great campsite with shelter from the rain. Think you and the Mrs. live in or near San Bernadino...the silver from the Panamint Mountains made its way to LA through your area via the stage coach. Thank you for making the point that drones aren't permitted in the park.
The DV cabins are such an amazing thing. And there are a bunch of them. Honestly these days, I plan my whole trips down there in the hopes of finding one of my favorites and just posting up for three or four days. Every cabin has a US flag. If you see it flying, its occupied, don't bother them. If you find a cabin with no flag and want to stay there, send up the flag! Always leave it better than you found it.
I love Panamint Valley. Even more than Death Valley. Panamint Valley road going North/South. On the east side is Death Valley National Monument, on the west side its BLM. So many places to explore. The last time I was down there, airing down on Panamint Valley road, south of Panamint Springs. Solo trip, early morning. Had an F18 fly over me below 50'. Practically picked my truck up off the ground. So cool!
Just above Panamint Springs.going west, up out of the valley towards 395. Star Wars canyon. You can park and hike over. The fighter jets coming out of bases like Lemoore. in the valley. They go by so close you can look into the cockpit.
HI DANIEL & TISH 👋 LOOKED LIKE A LOT OF FUN ❤AND HAVING GOOD FRIENDS WITH MAKES IT EVEN MORE PLUS EXTRA COOKS TOO . GORGEOUS SCENERY VIEWS LANDSCAPE GREAT 🏕 CAMPSITES WITH AWESOME VIEWS. We really wanted to do Lippincott, but the road in to Saline Valley was closed. So we would have had to go down, and then all the way back up. Definitely will hit it up once the roads are open. Thx for watching.
We went thru a couple days after this and got stuck in jackass canyon in 4 feet of snow. Nightmare fuel. Took us 6 hours to go a mile😂 I was inches from your hideent treasure at one point and had no idea!
Thanks for the great videos! can you tell me the name of the mine and cabin you stopped at, heading that way next month and am trying to map out the trip. any info would be appreciated. thanks
@@395jnky shirts are outstanding as well. I ordered one from you for my wife. Her hiking friends keep asking her where I got that shirt. Not sure if they ordered any though.

Just watched this video again, and I think my favorite part of the whole video is 19:36 “Are you vlogging” 😂 😂
LOL. Mine too. It happened so naturally...HAHAHA
Outstanding Video! One of your best videos yet! 👏The hamburgers and fries looked amazing. Good job Mike and Greg.

Another awesome video!! Thanks!

Good times 😎👊🏻🌮
Definitely. Look forward to our next trip!
Great video Daniel, hope to see you and Tish again soon!
Thanks Shawn. Us too! Appreciate the time to leave a comment. Happy Trails
Ive lucked and snagged that cabin a handful of times. That wood stove (compliments of Maddog Bill M.) is a beast and it devours wood at a crazy rate.
That stove was very large. I can why it would burn wood quickly. Must heat that cabin up in no time...Thanks for watching and leaving a comment.

I agree. There is much more to see in this area. Interesting facts about the stage coach. Must have been wild times back then. Thanks for watching.

Whaaat... no Lippincott??? That's the climax to that trail and finale at warm springs.

Great video @395junky!!, thanks for sharing. Currently a newbie and would like to check that cabin out would you mind sharing the coordinates?
Thanks for watching. All of the cabins in this area are great, and most of them are can be found on the Gaia app. Happy Trails

Not sure the name of the mine or cabin. I just followed @trailnewbie 😂
Do you think a Subaru outback Wilderness will be able to handle these roads?
When we went I think you’d do fine. But as the seasons change, so does the terrain. So always proceed with caution. Thx for watching.
Thank you, Sir.@@395jnky
