I planned on building around this card after I saw it but hadn't considered doing much around madness. My brother runs an Ulamog deck and that card frustrates me to no end with its exile triggers. Going to build this to have a true titan battle
One thing you didnt quite consider here. The taking of creatures is apart of the cast.... counter or bounce while in stack on your own Emrakul the cast trigger still happens and you permanently keep them. Somehow give your other permanents shroud if it does hit and leave and you still keep them
How did I JUST notice the Saints hat..... Ive been watching you from the start, and Im originally from Duluth, MN, but moved to Hudson, WI about 8 years ago! We are almost Neighbors, haha!
Fun fact: Gempalm Incinerator kills every version of Emrakul, provided there are enough goblins in play, since it's a triggered ability and they all have protection from spells in some form. And since it counts all gobbos on the battlefield, Emmy #3 stealing them all doesn't matter. And your opponent can only counter it with stifle-type effects.
Honestly really surprised to not see Sol Ring in the list. I know you don't normally put Sol Ring into these decks, but if there was ever a time to make an exception, the Emrakul deck would be it. It's only 36 cents above your typical $1 budget and would be absolutely perfect for as much colorless ramp as you need
Need a mana formation circle, where its not always on, but when you pay 1 X type mana you and this enchantment get protection from that color this turn. (Feeding it specifically Colorless mana means protection from colorless.)This card can only have one ongoing protection at a time.
I went a head and just bought this list! I’m new to commander and I love HP Lovecraft. Can’t wait to play this deck in June. What maybe more costly cards do you think I could save up for to add to the 99? I went ahead and bought the trim lands too.
If you already stole all creatures from the player you're attacking you basically knocked him out right there, you don't need to also make sure he destroys all his artifacts and lands which is all that they'd have left anyway.
Out of curiosity. I know you started labeling some of your deck techs as "Omega level" and you've done so for almost a couple of years (give or take). I was just wondering if there are any old deck techs you've done that you would put under the omega category now. Three that come to mind would be your old deck techs for K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth, Urza, Lord High Artificer and Muldrotha, the Gravetide. That's just my opinion, but I'd love your thoughts on it.
I'm kinda torn about this as a commander simply because if I see someone running the new Emrakul as a commander, I'm just flat out not playing any of my normal decks, I'm bringing in my 'cedh ready' deck instead to just try and turbo in for a combo win turn 3 to 5 and even that might not do it if I don't get a good hand or enough interaction to slow down Emrakul decks. So it's a sweet card but I honestly don't think it would be fair for anybody to run it outside of cedh environments and well, with lots of fast mana ramping that are most definitively not going to be budget friendly at all.
@@DREADxMAW I just ordered I prebuilt eldrazi deck so I pretty much have the ramp nothing to overpowered but now I just gotta get my eldrazi up but dang are they expensive

Thats one commander that is a sign of horrid and unbalanced card design. One that honestly I would not bother shuffling up and sitting down if I saw it was their commander. Game is going to be just terrible to play in.
I figured out how I will deal with this commander. If someone plays it and targets me I will scoop so they don't get to keep any creatures and so I don't have to play against this.
Fair. On my end just won;'t bother playing in the game period most the time if I see this as their commander and honestly thats my view to most eldrazi decks in general.

This is a card if I decide to play in the game against I am using my strongest deck and destroying that player asap.

Flickering will only kill your board, not steal more creatures.
Thran Turbine has the best mana efficiency out of mana rocks WITHOUT going mana-positive on the turn played, as far as I know. 4 in, 3 out.
