I'm Jeanelle, your world traveling, foodie friend. I love spotlighting international foods from my travels and my kitchen, blending my passion for eating and learning about new cultures. No boundaries, just incredible dishes and recipes that you can make at home. I used to be afraid to experiment in the kitchen, but I’m here to show you that cooking and baking can be SUPER simple.
🌍 I was born in the Philippines before my family immigrated to the United States. Having the best of both worlds allows me to share the incredible food that my family cooked, as well as the melting pot of cultures that I’ve experienced while traveling.
Let's explore the world through food and discover your next favorite dish! Thanks for being part of the Jeanelleats family, let’s eat, explore, and create delicious memories together 🍳🌈s
Which of these dishes would you eat the MOST of?! I have recipes for some of these dishes on jeanelleats.com!
How about all the recipes that was shown?
Yes.
I'm most definitely eating the dinuguan and ginataang the most. Yum Yum!!!
Pork belly but I want to taste everything 😮
Anything pork and/or sweet! Since i cant eat them any more cause of my health restrictions, i’d want to devour them even if it’s only in imagination.
Love how everyones dressed so casually and then Phillips out with the full barong and everything 😭😭
Gotta celebrate being with the boys
And he looked great didn’t he? 😊
@@Jeanelleats he did!
LOLOLOLOLOL!!!
Oh so that's what it's called. It is very similar to Kurta of India (I haven't seen the lower part of the barong in this video) ...so I thought maybe he was somehow connected to India. lol my bad
The "Jeanelle! Lika dito" sounded so legit. Lmao
Sounds like Jeanelle's older sister (ate) calling to her...
Sounded like someone was in trouble lol
My inner voice immediately said 'Yes Nanay?' 😂😂😂
pati yung "Ha?" feel na feel haha
Hahahaha Abi does have ate energy
The Filipino accent when the lumpia queen called you was on point!! JEANELLE LIKA DITO!
On point? She grew up in the Philippines. She doesn't need to fake her accent since it is legit.
@@104rr Well from the looks of it you didn't get what I meant by "on point" (¬_¬)
@@Matiel5836 you don't say na on point since pinoy siya 🤷
Calling a native filipino's accent on point LMAO
Meanwhile water is wet 😭😭😭
Even Janelle’s “HA??” Is on point
When my uncle married a Filipino all the dishes there were mexican and Filipino food. I WAS IN LOVE
HEA.VEN.
Wowwwwww 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Wow! 2 versions of adobo and menudo everytime
@@eigrontopediaxif I was a relative that shit would be gone in secondsm
perfect combo! 😂
Nothing more filipino than that "Jeanelle"
The “ha?” as response from being called is so Filipino. 😂
"Dying is dying, it makes you dead" should be on a T shirt lmao
Is that from this short?
Don’t remember that making the edit…. LOL but hope you’re having a good day!
Jeanelle❎️
Janel✅️
Hahahaha yesssss.
Filipino culture and cuisine is so slept on. Love my Filipino friends. They can throw down and get down RIGHT! Good food (and you know there were leftovers to take home because they'll be damned if you're left unfed) (and you double know they were spilling the TEA while cooking that feast) And some karaoke after?? Man, get outta here👏🏾👏🏾 love from a South African!❤️
Ugh… as a half Filipino this looks like heaven! Needs some sinigang though!
I could type your exact comment, but in the last sentence I'd put "kare kare" lol
Hahah a bit of sour would have been so perfect but even with just 4 of us there was so much foooood 🤤
I was waiting for the sinigang 😭😭 best partner with lechon kawali yess
Abi being Pilipina mama with the main dish ❤
Sounds like a good day till night to me 😌✨
It was SO MUCH FUN
hahaha abi is everywhere 😭😆
that "ha?!" response😂
I'm Mexican and have had the blessing of trying boy bawang, that shit is good asf
whoever said that quote about filipinos being the mexicans of asia was correct at least with the food, cause that is two cultures with some good ass cuisine in similar ways lol
Everyone loses their mind when trying boy bawang for the first time
i’m a filipino and my childhood is adobo with rice and i love it when we eat with our hands!
That aggressive "Janel" was the cherry on top
Abi, what?! no lumpia?!
i’m gonna cry. i need fellow filipino friends.
These foods are simply divine! You are all gifted cooks!
Looks delicious 😋
These all sound exotic as hell but trust me when I say its GOOOD.
Especially Sisig. I literally don’t care its made of pig snout and intestine, it’s just that good.
YOU ALL DID SO WELL!!! ❤
Abi! Ang cute mo ❤❤❤
F*ckin hate it that the first thing I see in the morning is this. It intensified my hunger and I don't want to get out of bed yet. 😂
Y'know, I'm usually pretty picky with food, but some of these look/sound AMAZING!
Filipinos know how to live!!!
When you bring 5 filipinos together, that's a rally in front of the supreme court
i love how fancy each dish sounds like in english but in tagalog its...something 😭😭
the comment I was looking for 😌

Lots of food and lots of love! How I wish you can share that with others.
Awesomeness happens!!! That's what happens!!!
Ik these dishes since I live in the Philippines dinuguan, Biko, pork sisig, pandesal, barbeque skewer, bilo bilo
My favorite was the coconut dessert. That looks very tempting!!!
My faves!!!
This is HEAVEN 🤤😩
Y'all need to try mixing warm evaporated milk with Nutella and use it as a dipping for pandesal
We have pork/cow's blood dishes also in Indonesia but I feel uneasy seeing them raw because I always eat those kind of food when it's already made and ready to eat 🥲😂
I literally eat fried pork blood without hesitation and it taste pretty good 😂 (my parent say, in order to make fried pork blood, you have to let the raw blood thicken up (coagulate) for a while and fry it up afterwards with some spices)
i saw that pork blood soup in Filipino restaurants for years when I was a child, and my mom always wanted me to eat it but I was always scared. When I tried it I was impressed, it is good. Getting children to eat a soup that is black not because it's made of chocolate, but because it's made with blood is a hard task 😂. But eventually my mom got me to do the right thing lol
When I learned what dinuguan was as a kid (after eating it for a while) I got grossed out for about a year, but I eventually returned it eating it. I like what I like. Btw we Filipinos also grill coagulated pig blood, we call it "betamax" coz of the shape similarity 😅
It's not served raw, it's cooked.
@@romxxii Yeah, I know. I never said that it was served raw, I said I felt uneasy seeing the 'pig's blood' in 'raw' form
Wooooooooow i love this collab ❤️
All my favorites! Filipino food is just so delicious. And as always, the pandesals came out perfect! ❤
Everything looks so yummy!
Sarap!
Love the pork theme!!
lol "the pork theme," you just mean "Filipino cuisine" 😂. But yeah, I agree!
All of that looks amazing! I'm so sad I can't have pork ever.
Wow, whilst wearing a Barong Tagalog... Amazing
i’m a filipino and the pork barbecue skewers are so delicious!!
Saraaaaaaap! 😋😋😋
Omggggg so jealous
I would pay...a HEFTY SUM...to enjoy all of those scrumptious dishes!!! 😋🤤🤤
you can come here to the Philippines and spend pennies on the dollar for these dishes. We're very tourist-friendly.
@@romxxii - Thank you for your comment. 😊 Visiting the Philippines is definitely on my travel wish list! 😄🇵🇭
