Thank you, have been thinking of doing this because I have arthritis in my thumb.
Rather than using a soap and water solution, rubbing alcohol is a better option. It is super slippery and then drys to a nice tight fit. Soap and result is twisting and slipping. Glad you got it running.

Its really only one of two. So if it does not work, try any of the others and it probably will.
@EbikeReviews I've already tried the one where it doesn't do anything, so hopefully this one works! I'll update here when I receive the throttle :)

It is for now. I would love the same setup in a 20" tire. 20" is my preferred size.
Richard, you even prefer a 20 in wheel for that extra long trip you got coming up?
@@EbikeReviewsMe too, I gave my 27 inch e-bike away as I kept ripping my legs on the pedals trying to hoist myself onto the seat, I now have a 20 inch which works great.
Are you getting the Ride 1 up Portola for testing. A lot of reviewers are getting one.

How difficult is it to install a thumb throttle lever over in existing twist throttle grip and where can I get one for my ecosmart metro scooter?
Can these be installed on either side left or right?
A little hair spray should stop the slipping. Acts like a glue.

It’s not really difficult to figure out the wires. Positive negative and signal. Not complicated
