I know a lot of Disneyland purists rightfully loathe this retheme. But for just adding a few green and red LEDs they sort of replaced the niche thing thats missing in seemingly all the new Star Wars stuff... Ever since Star Tours got updated, you never scratch that itch of having Rebel chatter and shooting down Tie fighters. This really relieves that itch. Great footage, friend!
I miss the old theme with the intergalactic package delivery service and the original robots, but at the same time, I do love that Star Wars has taken over nearly everything at Disneyland and Disneyworld. I only recently returned there after over a decade, and I was in Star Wars paradise!
It was never truly affordable. Back in the 90s. It took a day and a half worth of min wage to go. It's the same for today. A day and a half worth of min wage to go
People complaining about the Star Wars overlay because they're special snowflakes that crave attention can stfu. This ride is a 100/10 experience and I pity the person that never got to ride it.
They should take this version of the ride, and put it in galaxies edge, that area needs more attractions after the rise of the resistance. They should call it something else rather than hyperspace mountain also. I went to Disneyland 2 days ago and saw that they changed space mountain back to how it was when they first made it and I think they should keep it like that but add this version over to galaxies edge
Goodness gracious people y’all need to let go please! Can’t keep on living with this crying sooner or later people will like the sequels when we are old and gray
@@dollazNzentz so obviously it's not a permanent thing. I remember going to that space mountain back in 1978 believe it or not. It had just opened a couple of months earlier and was the biggest hit in the park
Meh. I remember opening day in 1977 when the line was 8+ hours long and started at the Main Street Train Station. I will never forget the giant space chocolate chip cookie at the top of the last lift hill. Turning Disneyland into a poor copy of Universal Studios will be its downfall.
The one in Paris is pitch black, they didn't even reused the disco ball for star effect, and unlike other SMs it's a high speed thrill coaster, not a "familly" one, it goes way too fast for the couple of videos, and depending where you're placed on the train you get see absolutely nothing from start to finish. The Paris overlay is awfull, doesn't match the theming and replace an otherwise great attraction, they need to get rid of it. At least they're consistent they did the same justice to RNRC so we get to enjoy the Marvel theme in complete darkness now aswell...
@@devWeidz highly doubt it I rode space mountain at least 20x last weekend sat in various parts of the train it was spectacular in terms of theming music I don’t know where your pitch black comes from there where tie fighters star destroyers and explosions everywhere and the music was on par as well and you say family friendly there where gen 7 year olds riding on the roller coaster so ??
WTF...I missed this....WHAT....FOOOOOHHHCK! Why don't they just keep THIS!!! Don't get me wrong, I love the original space mountain, but Disneyworld does a great job at keeping that old SM nostalgic look. THIS should be the mainstay at DL. (BTW, I h8te Galaxy's Edge. It's a waste of real estate. Rise of the Resistance is a great attraction from a techincal standpoint, but it's born from a BS "counterfeit" Star Wars story, and the area of the park is practically a giant gift shop and food court disguised as an attraction. Giftshops and food courts are okay, but they shouldn't be 90 percent of the park. Of course, I'm being idealistic, but am I? Because this "ideal" I speak of was actually accomplished for 60 years before Disney went full scam.

Miss Hyperspace Mountain so much!!
Miss Hyperspace. Sounds like a super hero. 😊 :-)
Me too. But, it’s only Star Wars season from April to June.
My daughter loved this ride! It was a awesome day!
Space Mountain married Star Wars and created Hyperspace Mountain
0:43 yep
wow the effects are awesome
Fr looks like your in space fr😂
I prefer Hyperspace Mountain over Space Mountain any day
Same. Space mountain is fun but it’s very basic when compared to Hyperspace mountain
@@redrox3312actually the opposite
Space Mountain is the best Star Wars coaster ride in Disneyland
I also miss Hyperspace Mountain.
It’ll always be every year when it’s Star Wars season.
That was pretty awesome 😀
I've never seen them do star wars for this ride this is so much fun! I love space mountain! Sadly i do get sick from it everytime .
last time i wentr on hyperspace it went so fast it was nuts
I miss hyper space mountain cuz now it’s just space mountain
Nice, reminds me of the good old days when disneyland was affordable and worth visiting.
It was never truly affordable. Back in the 90s. It took a day and a half worth of min wage to go. It's the same for today. A day and a half worth of min wage to go
It isn’t a nonprofit organisation you know 😂
Imagine doing this ride on may the 4th
Wow...thats pretty cool.
I like the original Space Mountain, Hate when they change,
They still rely on the original Trilogy. 🤣 I love it!
It’s because this was theming that started in 2015 just before the sequels came out. Don’t be mean.
The sequels are a dumpster fire. Let’s be real
@@FillmGeekOfDoomthey actually used this ride to advertise the force awakens though, you fly through Jakku space in this overlay.
Man you one of those people
Ah, you’re one of THOSE types of fans.
my fave version of space mountain is that ghost in the machine for halloween

INTO HYPERSPACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m going there on Sunday
love your vids
HYPERSPACE MOUNTAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice park
I went about a month ago and for some reason they let us go twice in a row, one of the best rides for sure
They do that on slow days. They let my group go on smugglers twice too
I loved it when it was called space mountain 🎉
it will turn back into space mountain in about 5 days
I almosted pooped my pants🤣🤣🤣
Do this everywhere
Can i use this video on my youtube vlog?
What happened to the audio during the channel intro, I’ve been missing it for a very long time.
My 1st expirience in this was terrifying😂😂😂
Does it have very strong falls?
What camera did you use to film this?
We’re is this because I searched up Disney land Paris
Star Wars original trilogy is SO SO SO much better than anything that came after it , especially the sequel trilogy.
💖
Does it go upside down?

❤❤
Best part of this ride, they relied on the Original Trilogy. The best of the Star Wars trilogies, which is just the Original and the Prequels.
AGREED! I do not like the sequels.
Goodness gracious people y’all need to let go please! Can’t keep on living with this crying sooner or later people will like the sequels when we are old and gray
We didn’t get to go lol…it broke down :(
OLED Display better nope ?
♡...
Why does this keep happening to space Mountain and Star Wars
Did they renovate space mountain into hyperspace mountain?
They just changed it for May the 4th
@@dollazNzentz but it's not May 4th yet?
Ya they do it for like a few weeks/month for Star Wars month or whatever
@@dollazNzentz so obviously it's not a permanent thing. I remember going to that space mountain back in 1978 believe it or not. It had just opened a couple of months earlier and was the biggest hit in the park

Cool
"Temporarily" 🙄

Where is this coaster?
Disneyland
Your welcome😂

Space Mountain was great already and has been since inception
